Lightening strikes very rarely unless you're in place where u r the tallest object, so avoid trees fields and ponds terrace during rain

Bless your caring heart for making this video. Please consider dubbing it into Hindi as well. Ideally, someone in the government should make a little press kit in all Indian languages with this information and put an item on their calendar to remind radio & TV stations to give 2 minute annoucements to people every lightning season - I don't know if the government does this or not. My guess is that the people most likely to be hurt by lightning are the non-English speaking Indians working out in the fields.

Such a tragic loss of life... what good is all lightening nw sensors n the pune lab if this loss can't be prevented. its not that lightening is a recent phenomenon, or that science around it is not known, but we don't see any measures to reduce its damage, or atleast inform ppl to how to be safe - something that our primary education should cover

Just google how much time, effort and resources are needed to create something like a vox/Kurzgesagt/ted video. That needs highly paid animators, script and copy writers, proof readers, producers, and not to mention a crazy huge budget for gear. It takes months into making. Just be thankful that there’s no shit like “maut ka bathtub” and “hit vicket” sort of things going on. Learn to appreciate the simplicity and effectiveness of the information presentation.
