How does rocket fuel, expelled from a rocket motor spinning uncontrollably, propogate waves with such geometric regularity, and not be subject to the forces of trajectory, gravity, or wind currents? I have seen many missle launches, but nothing ever like this. Rocket exhaust is dense and would fall to earth--not create a perfect spiral.

Its hard to appreciate from the ground with some of these videos but keep in mind that according to the russians the 3rd stage of the rocket failed, this could mean that it failed to separate from the other stages which could have caused the spinning. What you see glowing is not fuel spraying out, it is combustion gasses, not very dense stuff, but from that distance it looks like a compact cloud of material. And there is no resistance in space so even these particles will sustain high speeds.

It's not a rocket or military weapon. There have been similar phenomenon over the USA as well, in several places. Basically, you can't see the UFO in the shot because of the light emitting from the portal behind it. The tail is the dissipating wormhole. The spirals are because of the spinning craft, which is also spiral shaped. As it re-enters hyperspace, the wormhole dissipates and creates a blue circle where the craft use to be as a result. Simple science.

Over the years I have been coming back to this phenomenon to see if there was an official explanation to what occured. Tonight on the news I saw an article about a similar spiral forming in the sky, that was caught on camera from the Subary Telescope in Hawaii, up in the mountains. This spiral was supposedly formed by a Falcon-9 rocket, a reusable launch vehicle, returning back to earth and disposing excess fuel. I now belief that the Norwegian spiral must have been caused by something similar like a rocket disposing excess fuel.
