this is great, i was going to build something similar on a projector screen, the time you gather all parts, screen, stand, led strips, power supply, wiring, then trial and error putting it all together 1200 bucks is very reasonable and will be buying one as soon as i can. Nice work

I looked into some details. This Lightwall is approx 8x8ft. Govee is only 6.5ft wide X 5ft high. Also comes with the frame/stand and the carrying case with wheels. Govee just comes in a box light christmas lights.

I agree...it's apples and oranges with this and the Govee stuff. The Govee stuff is kind of cool, but it's a bit of a science project to actually make them look good, and it's a PERMANENT install with the Govee stuff. Lightwall just came out with some Govee style product, but way easier to set up. Not QUITE as cheap as Govee, but close ($199). Still, not really portable like this is. Great video from IDJ Now BTW!

$1,000? Bro....Govee is already offering this type of product for a fraction of this price. I'm so tired of lighting companies taking advantage of DJs. Chauvet is notorious for raking up the price of the same items we can get elsewhere (i.e. China) for much less. No, thank you. Djs unite! If we stop buying this inflated gear they will be forced to do better. That said, I DO love me some IDJNow. Nothing personal to you guys.

Latinfantom -Thanks for the comment - There are many similar products out there that can mimic what the Twinkly Light Wall does. However, this product was designed for the Mobile Entertainer market where durability, along with quick set up and breakdowns are required. Also, the ability to transport safely. We’ve seen the Govee product you mentioned - while it is impressive, that is really designed for a one time set up in a room or studio. It’s not meant for setting up and breaking down routinely.
