Setting up and testing Twinkly Squares smart LED wall panels

In this video I unbox, setup and try out the Twinkly Squares smart LED wall panel starter kit. The kit contains 6 LED panels each of which has 64 addressable LEDs. So that means you can create pixel artwork and animated gifs on the wall mounted light panels.
The kit is easy to assemble and everything you need is provided, there are cables for connecting the panels, plastic clips to attach the panels and a USB C power supply. The panels can be connected any way and this gives you flexibility to arrange them however you want.

First video to actually explain how the store actually works. Without the store these would be fairly limited. With it the twinkly squares really come to life. Waiting on the firmware update where I can have mine go through a few favourite patterns then sit on a clock/weather etc widget. Imagine using a set as a you tube sub counter!

I have been a fan of Twinkly, and when they came out with these panels, i had to first cross a financial bridge not really knowing what to expect. This video of yours gave a bit of a disappointment about the resolution, I really thought it's resolution and seeing the cable structure, that the speed would not stumble so often instead of fluently moving patterns. I saw the same thing with the strings, weird jumps in the pattern chosen, but I really do hope they understand this at Twinkly and work on it, because the price for panels is one thing, but a disappointment is present when things are not that tidy! Your video was great to watch, no problems there, but I will skip this purchase. A year ago I used arduino or RaspberryPi to control little ledpanels but those panels were not bigger than your or my hand. The programming is also a thing, you have to manually do all this and that is where Twinkly made a fool-proof app to control them. So, all in all, I wait until the resolution of the panels are going lots bigger, and the stutter is totally gone, and that should be no problem (knowing my little experimenting had no stutter at all) Thanks!
