I think if their design goal was to have people work on smaller crafts rather than go all in, then that was a big design failure. The way the mod weightings work just do not justify investing resources into small crafts, the mechanic just did not work well for low to mid tier items. The fact you basically want to invest 16-24 modifier tier corpses into every craft alone makes that impossible.

They made normal eater and exarch practically worthless by moving their amulets to Ubers while also moving items previously farmable to significantly more investment (both time and currency)

No, unless you're in HC. You can't migrate from SSF SC to Standard SSF before the league ends.

The league might not have been the best, but I'll always remember it fondly for two reasons: 1) I crafted my first 6T1 item, and 2) I made over 300 divs in two weeks. Those two are not related, the item was garbage!

Burned out real quick. The scarab change is meh, makes them required to be worth it. Won't even touch T17 more than once to get the map slot, which shouldn't even be there. Not to mention bosses, which ain't "gap content" whatsoever. Gravecrafting is... tedious, takes too much time to get a full grave, and it's still rng.

Nice podcast but it is VERY apparent that you are all meta spec players. Especially with your tier17s take. I have upwards of 150d invested in a Scorching Ray totem hierophant and I still get rolled by Tier 17s. Tier 17 are VERY dumb IMO because it restricts the already very restricted build diversity. I don't want to just roll the only 6-7 builds that can run T17s on a "low" budget. I just don't enjoy these maps. And I kinda have to if I want to progress..

@@bidu2331324 Unfortunately, this is where FOMO stems from. Also, they made T17 so that they are pretty much mandatory if you want to compete in the economy or just progress/complete endgame. They are optional in the broadest sense of the term, but not really.

@@bidu2331324 Even without the fomo, you still MUST complete a T17 for the 5th map device slot, which is basically mandatory with the new scarabs.

​@@bidu2331324this logic doesn't work, the game is ALWAYS balanced around this content that you can just not do. Remember when Ubers were sold as "optional" content for 1 league Chris called them optional bragging rights content? Now they have premium drop items that are literally some of the most build gating items. The game is now balanced around them. Expectations for builds are now gated by them "Uber viable" build guide or enjoy getting dunked on by the community. Just don't do them, just don't level, just don't equip a skill gem these phrases are all just as fallacious. GGG balances the game based on what people do, content you don't do will ALWAYS effect you.

I hate necropolis even more than I hated tota. Yes, it allows to make POTENTIALLY great items, which I don't have desire to do. I usually like build evolving till t16, then I kinda bored of a build. And having 0 space stash left doesn't help me enjoy the league also. If you are one of those guys who spends 500$ on stash tabs just to grind eater for 80 times, sure, it's great league. For me it's 2/10 league. Also not playing coc dd in ssf means most of content locked due high gear requirement, only my 4th char could somewhat do t17s.

Shitting Kripp and calling him crybaby doesn't add points to you lighty. You played TILL maps... hardest things are in maps. It's just saying t17 aren't hard playing t1 maps. I thought you kind of a better person. "It's only slower". It's not only slower... but even if it was... time is everything. If something takes 1 year instead of 1 week... yeah we say it's harder. Getting all uniques isn't harder in ssf that in trade because with enough time you will get them all. So it's not harder right? Braindead logic.
