Re Micah's three easy lessons - summarising the law was very much a Jewish tradition. Indeed both Jesus and the Apostle Paul did so!

I took that to mean we in the West want an easy 3-point outline and then say we’re done with it. Rather, real internalization/understanding might not come until we go through hard experience. No argument. I think both are true. Peace to you.
