Gob smacked when, at 27:40, R.C completely explains and predicts what we see in the culture today. Thank you for posting this series. I think R.C's ability to understand the effects of modern philosophies on people and culture is even more reason for me to trust in his teaching, which i hold in the highest regard. for those who notice the less the HQ video and audio, it was likely that these sessions might have been recorded on VHS tape. And if you've owned either a VHS or 8mm camera/recorder, you will remember the distortions that often accompanied the recordings. With that said, I am thankful that these teachings exist and have been shared for our edification. (distortion, noise and all ) 🙂

I've never understood the difference between exegesis and hermeneutics. Doesn't they both mean "explanation" of the scripture?

Exegesis is more reading out of scripture, instead of reading into scripture (eisegesis), the prefix “ex-“ means to get out of, however hermeneutics is simply the study of interpreting scripture, so to conclude this, exegesis is reading scripture as it is without fitting in your beliefs into it, while hermeneutics is simply the study of interpretation on scripture, which is more of a field of study

Because they are not art. Art has rules and when they are violated its not art. Same is true of music. Psychology is not science at all. True science points to the Creator. The Roman Empire was a religions parasite it took is false gods from the nations it conquered. The Roman Catholic not Church is the same. Where ever it went it renamed pagan idols after Biblical names instead of ending the idolatry. He was like most people today wrong about the US Supreme Court. The Constitution says it is to over see the lesser courts. It is to determine if the orher courts made the Constitutional decision. It has no authority to over turn laws. Thomas Jefferson said thei court does not have the authority to make laws if Congress won't or to compel the Executive to do anything. Because its authority is only other courts

This is a wolf… no interpretation allowed. 2Pe 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. Rom 15:6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. How can we be of one mind if this Christian sect “interprets” it one way, and another, another way… Add nothing , subtract nothing. The Bible explains itself. It says, if you still sin, you are not saved. Jesus said that, not me.
