Thank you for airing this series, I’ve never seen RC without a suit or sport coat. That was so neat to see him in a shirt and sweater, strangely it made him even more accessible. I’ve been watching and listening for years and that was a surprise and also a series I’ve never heard and I really enjoyed it. He was so much fun to listen to and at the same time gifted at teaching deep theological truths in a plain and simple way. I used to look up to celebrities when I was younger. Now I look up to men like John MacArthur and RC Sproul, but of course, all credit and glory go to God. Edit: Oh my gosh, people. I'm not saying I worship R.C. He is my mentor in regard to studying and learning scripture. There's nothing wrong with admiring other people as long as it doesn't become an idol in our lives. I know this. It's basic faith 101. Now, please, stop telling me to "only look to God/Christ" because I don't idolize the man. I even say that all the credit goes to God. For you to continue to be a Muslim after continually hearing Dr. Sproul isn't necessarily an honorable thing. Dr. Sproul is either teaching truth, or he isn't. And if he is, you MUST convert and become as a child and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as being the Son of God; as Jesus Christ commands you to do. Hi Gardener, maybe you want to change your diet. I had severe anxiety and took benzos and SSRI for months. I had chronic insomnia for 2 years. But going on a Paleo diet and taking a selenium supplement helped me heal my anxiety. If you have anxiety, your gut is disrupted because the serotonin is produced in the gut.

The Adhd Gardener, I have a lot of mental health problems too, anxiety can make it all worse. I agree, our faith gets us through our illness. I know it keeps me going. Schizophrenia and everything else on top of depression is tough, but God allows it for a purpose. I'm just trusting in Him daily to get me through it all. Hang in there.

No it's not a sin to worry. It's a natural human emotion. Humans need a certain amount of anxiety to survive in the world naturally. Now anxiety and worry can get out of control and have very negative effects. I think that was jesus point. Not that worry or anxiety is a sin, just not let it control or take over you.

I think most people struggle with anxiety in their lives, and it is often difficult to deal with it, however, the words of Jesus encourage us to walk by faith, not by sight, putting our complete trust in the Lord. I was struck by an SUV, back in 2018. I was always afraid of Elevators, but I still rode them. However, since then, I will not step into one, without someone being in there with me. My Doctor said, that is because I am afraid of not being able to escape, if I were to ever get stuck. Just like I wasn't able to escape, being hit by the SUV. I think often of facing my fear and to just try it, by myself. However, when it comes time to actually do it, the fear overwhelms me. Please pray for me. May God bless, all of you!

It’s not so much that I don’t believe God will do what He Promises but I’m afraid He will and I find myself not liking that and fearful He will hold me accountable and remove what He has already given to me. So in fear, I find myself running into the waters of Christ, the Goodness of God and I’m reminded of His Kindness in the past. In these moments I find He is enough and my worries about losing all things for Him becomes ok. In the morning I find Joy, Peace and Love at my beside waiting to walk with me through that day.

That common fear of man being anxious about not being able to provide for his loved ones is true for me. Though I’m not married, nor do I have kids, neither do I want that, I feel an obligation to be the provider of my parents.
