Wow. That banana piano was very cool! I also thought the stickers that new drivers and elderly drivers have on their cars are so smart. We have magnet for the car for my new student driver but a universal sign for that would be perfect. Happy to see your parents in Japan. 😀

I am also happy that your parents came to Japan! And it's lovely that you were able to show them the cherry blossoms in bloom. I heard that the cherry blossoms in Washington DC were in full bloom and many people were enjoying them. I hope you enjoy the cherry blossoms in Japan!

I love your videos! Thank you for sharing such beautiful family time and all your adventures together in Japan. I couldn't stop smiling during this entire video. My own 4 kids are grown, but your family reminds me so much of the adventures we had raising our children. My husband and I will finally be coming to Japan in a little over 3 weeks and will be living in Kobe for the next 2 years. We are so excited and your channel has really helped with that, as we will be serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I really appreciate all you do for the Christian community and sharing the gospel. THANK YOU!

It’s so nice seeing your parents arrive and being shown around. I loved it when my parents came to visit us in the early 90’s (we were only in Japan for 2 years), and so wish my husband’s parents came too. My parents stopped en route between summer holidays in Finland (where they born, met, and married before immigrating to Australia) and Sydney, Australia. I enjoy watching you raise your family in Japan. It’s different to watching the travel bloggers, but at the same time, I like seeing when you do go on trips, like the recent skiing one.

Magnolias and daffodils are still pretty much the only blooms we've had, here in Ohio. I'm still waiting for the spring blooms here, especially the red bud trees! And I have to wait till May for the creeping phlox! But that's the best part! Good things come to those who wait!

Thanks as usual. Now I'm waiting for the Spring in my region where the cherry blossoms bloom usually around the GW days of April. I expect it a bit earlier this year because of the warm winter we had.

I'm Japanese. I came to think that Sakura is very very strange flower. It is just flower but it can comfort, excite us compared with other flower. Our ancestor subconsciously noticed this phenomena. I'm very happy to share this phenomena with many peple and want to popularize cherry blossoms all over the world. May I called it as "Sakura Magic"?

You guys have a Makey Makey! We used one to turn the car steering wheel and pedal into a drumset with foil tape so you could play actual drums on the steering wheel when listening to music. Not while driving of course.
I can’t get over the pancakes/crepes. There was more whipped cream than pancake on the plate haha! Looks like you all had a great time. Someday I’ll have to head to Japan in the spring to see the sakura blossoms

Most of sakura(cherry blossoms) seen in Japan are of a variety called Somei-yoshino, which are clones with the same genes. Somei-yoshino was developed by a gardener in Edo (Tokyo) in the middle of the Edo period. Since it cannot self-breed, all the trees were cloned by hand and planted all over Japan.
