I'm glad I'm not the only adult that gets so excited by literally anything in dollar stores 🤣
The 100 Yen store is a vital store for people living in Japan. It used to be my favorite store growing up because of all the toys. My Parents would allow us to get one thing each time we went. Such great memories. Thanks for posting this!

One thing I love to use from Daiso is microwaveable containers. You can cool spaghetti, instant ramen and rice. It might not be useful for big family, but for people who live alone, that is an amazing thing.

Hello. I enjoy watching your channel. I recommend you these items for your next visit at Daiso’s. 1) Easy melting butter knife 2) 4 way kitchen timer 3) Anti-slip clips for clothes hangers 4) Lint brush
So much fun. My husband went to diso in California and brought back several fun things. I really like these certain containers for bento boxes that work perfectly for school lunch. When we can reschedule our trip for Japan that is one of the first places we want to visit!
Very very Fun to see A mother enjoying shopping in Daiso🤩😍

@@IMDaniDee It's just my opinion. Italian sounds are like songs and poems. The beautiful languages of the world come from deep history and beautiful art. Italian is very beautiful about the expression of the mind.
I have found the little baskets that organize the condiments in my kitchen to be very useful.

When I Lived in Tokyo one of the thingsI would do was to take my overseas guests on a short train ride to the "suburbs" to visit Giga-Daiso in Funabashi/Chiba. I would play a game with myself to see how many things they would end up picking up and how many things they would discover they never knew they needed. Giga-Daiso is 8 Floors of Daiso heaven and is the biggest in all of Japan I believe. Daiso is a real treasure hunt which keeps you coming back for more with new an limited runs of product lines all the time.

Wow- that sounds awesome! We'll have to check that out!

When traveling, I try to stay at a hotel near Daiso. Even if you have something left behind, you can get most of it with Daiso, so you can rest assured.
I went to Japan in 2019 and I got so many bags from stores. I bought some stickers and they put each sticker in an individual bag and then pit those in a plastic bag. I would also be already carrying like 4 bags but then they would give me another bag without asking if I needed one or not.
@cheezarose4 жыл бұрын
Here in many countries in Europe,they also don't bag your grocies. The only time where I ever saw people baging groceries for you was in US entertainment (movies,TV shows etc). Once in a store when I went to London,they did that for me and I was so surprised.

You are heavy heavy user😆

In Ireland we bring our own bags to the shop, or you can buy what they call reusable or bags for life. We also always pack our own bags unless the are people doing it for charity and they usually have buckets for donations with them. We also have shops were you use a machine as you walk around or in some it’s an app on your phone and you zap the barcode as you shop and put it straight into your bags and then just pay at a machine at the end. This is my preferred way to shop as you can pack your bags and see how much everything costs and your total. Its so quick!

Be careful, Ruth. Japanese kitchen knives have one side slanted. The other side is flat and so sashimi is beautifully cut. Cheap knife sharpeners often sharpen both sides of blade and then one sided knives become dull.
