Yuzawa is pretty cool; we have been there many times. If you go in the summer you can also enjoy the fishing park (if you can't catch anything there is something wrong with you), the "mountain bobsled", and lots of flowers. There is also a huge shopping center at the Shinkansen station -- I don't even like shopping, but this place is pretty neat. For adults, there are also several nearby sake breweries that you can tour, and in the station there's a shop where for 500 yen you can try five different kinds of locally-brewed sake (it is too complicated because you must choose from 100 varieties!).

Anna and Becca skied better and better each time they skied!☺️ By the afternoon of the second day, Anna and Becca were both so good at skiing that I couldn't believe it was only their fifth time skiing!✨🎶👍 Everyone seemed to be having a great time.🎶🥰 When I was in high school, I often went to Nakazato Ski Resort, and after my daughters started skiing, I often went to Gala Yuzawa.🎶 Thank you for showing us another fun video of Boys & Girls.✨🥰

It's so evident how much your love your kids. You are so encouraging, it's wonderful to see such a supportive parent--especially a Dad. Your families are so blessed to have you. I've never been on skis before--although it's popular in my area during this time of year to go for a weekend. We haven't had much snowfall this year though! Maybe next year I'll get the courage to go. :) Thanks for uploading this. Your channel is one of my favorites. :)

Thank you very much for taking us with you on this very wintery trip! There has been little to no snow here in Germany, so it was nice to see so much of it - and you having fun with it! I tried skiing with my (absent) Dad once and it was a nightmare. He made me take the lift to the top without having any experience or practice and then belittled me for falling and giving up. It was terrible and embarrassing. I had to be “rescued” by staff on a snowmobile to get down the mountain. He gave me the silent treatment the whole way home. It was so so awful, and I’m not fit enough to try it again (nor would I want to). But it was super nice and beautiful to see your family’s skiing experience. I’m glad there are Dad’s like you!

Sounds like my parents. We never went skiing, but I've had many similar experiences, so I can relate.
@LIJ Жыл бұрын
Oh wow, I'm so sorry to hear that. There was a little kid in front of us on the chairlift that was having a similar experience to you. I felt so bad. She was getting off the lift (for the first time maybe?) and she fell and got trapped under the chairlift. Her parents did nothing to help and the staff had to go and rescue her. I about yelled at the parents!

Reminds me so much of my time learning to ski! So cool seeing the Ski area in Japan! When going down a "scarier" run, my folks would always have me look up at the run I had just gotten done doing successfully. It has stuck with me in that not only did I know I made it threw something hard that day, but also as a metaphor for life.

Looks like it wasn’t too busy. Weekdays? It’s interesting how they go up on the wrong side of the chair lifts and gondoliers. Looks like much more enjoyable experience than in the USA. Skiing is out of control in the USA now. Very expensive lift tickets, almost triple the price of a ski ticket in Japan. Glad you had a good snow. My parents always told us if we weren’t Learning anything on the slopes. The onsen must’ve been wonderful after a day of skiing. Colorado has good snow this winter. We’re more concerned about the water for next summer.

Ski lesson by twin's school must've been useful. They're fairly good at skiing for the 2nd time13-year-girls. Anna seems a little better unlike usual activity. Did you, Nate, learn ski in Illinois? Taking movie with skiing isn't so easy. I've been to GALA Yuzawa ski ground which is connected with Ishiuchi-Maruyma ski ground and Joetsu Int'l one. It used to cost 10,000 yen and merely take 1 hour from Ueno station by Shinkansen, which doesn't need drivers.

We taught them to ski when we first went 4 years ago (the basic snowplow move). Then they had classes when they went with their class early this year. So this time out I was teaching them stem turns, which if you see how they're skiing at the beginning of the video and the end you can see they're picking it up quite nicely.

Great video!! Whenever you go out as a family, you are all very active. No wonder you're all so skinny. Guess I'll just have to keep watching until all the children grow up. Japan has tons of free and low cost outdoor places. Not a bad place to be a kid. Enjoy.

You usually have to use chains in the mountains here in Japan, so that's certainly different. But I never lived in an area in the States that had mountains - just flat Illinois - some I'm not 100% sure of all the differences.

It’s fun to skiing untouched snow. I have once by school (Accommodation learning )at 2nd grade junior high. Can’t skiing well… Girl said that Japanese English is funny, looking cup of hot chocolate. What’s funny? I’m Japanese and i don’t understand what’s wrong.tell me
@elteescat Жыл бұрын
The people who printed the cup probably used Google Translate. Google Translate has trouble with Japanese. It mixes up the pronoun/noun/subject agreement so it just sounds wacky when you read it! Calling a person "it" and calling an object "he." It’s goofy! 🤪 🤣
