We purchased one in Japan, but needed an electric transformer to make it work in Australia. So good for winter, our dog loves it.

What about your back...? How do you keep your back warm ? To me it looks like that the warmth stays just under the table/blanket which covers only your legs/lower body.....

Oh, usually the heat for my lower body is enough to keep my entire body warm! Sometimes I would throw on a blanket if I feel especially cold

Yeah The femoral artery in the upper thighs, closer to the inner thigh, is how rescuers warm the whole body of a person who is having hypothermia. They have big hot water bottles or heating pad they put on your lap I believe. So if you warm the blood running through the femoral artery it will go throughout the body! I am cold at work and in my house a lot, and I just have little rechargeable electric hand warmers in my trouser pockets, with my pockets deep enough so they warm my upper thighs... and it makes my whole body warm.
