Because if you don't actively go out of your way to find them in the singing hall, you'll have the hall's owner or his assistant sing instead. He takes ocer for Souji and Nagakura, while she takes over for Haruka and Ikumatsu. Helps to make it seamless; you can go basic if you want... or sing with your friends and get SPECIAL.
