My Husband Gordon and I were so ecstatic to get to see Bob Seger at his last concert in Nashville, TN. Medicine for ours souls and a dream come true! Gordon passed away a week ago today😭 Like a Rock was his theme song, so during his service this was the last song and everyone sang along, what a blessing for our family at that moment. Thank you Bob Seger for providing us with 37 years to beat of your music.

Hey big dog. Like the men in the first and second ww and the Korean conflict. You're from a generation we're losing. It's not even about equality. It's about going forward to be where you need to be. Not holding back to match vibration. Everyone has become so self absorbed the big picture is fading. No one does anything because it's the right thing. If they don't get paid they won't do it. There's no positive self pride. If they have to shoulder too much they quit. Anyway God bless you thank you for being here and shouldering what you could. We need your kind of men again. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I bet he's a good man! This song came out in the eighties of course. I was working in construction and surrounded by cokeheads dribbling their paychecks and their lives away. My "darling" wife and I had a long term plan together though. Even though we were "surrounded by all these hustlers and their schemes." Like A Rock came out at about the mid point of our journey. "Behind every good man is a good woman" a soulmate who believes in him!!!!
@vg83453 жыл бұрын
@@theantiqueactionfigure my FIL married three times and my husband had to live through those marriages and those wives who were all money hungry. Sadly the hustlers won 'after working for peanuts with not a dime to spare' and after 40 years of working his guts out on the family farm he lost all that he was promised. So we started again and are still working to pay our mortgage. We now have a small rural property and a few cows for him. Sadly the cost is high and he is FIFO up north and will be for a few years more. However, 'he held firm to what he believed' he kept his integrity and honour, we have each other and have been blessed with healthy beautiful children that are kind and have a great work ethic. What more can a woman ask for! Blessings to you.
