It’s cool to see him pay homage to his Dad but also do stuff his own way. Seeing his progression has been crazy. Like he has definitely had to put in work and seeing him in almost every stage of the journey has been really entertaining. It’s crazy to watch someone grow and hone their craft.

It's so cool to see his dad get so happy it's a feeling that you can't even explain seeing your son win I think I cried when my son got his first one it's probably the best feeling I've ever had it's like seeing your son being born all the hard work from teaching them to ride a 50 to a 65 to 85 and getting win 🏆 crazy amazing 👏 I love it Brian is a he'll of a dad I wish them all the best and can't wait to see all these wins go danger boy

Dude Deegan is a freaking beast. He hasn’t been on the bike that much leading into this season. For an 18 year old to understand how to find other ways to win when his outright speed wasn’t matching up to Forkner is simply incredible. Most riders just try to be faster than the other guy. This kid is extremely smart and mentally tough. He knew that track was catching riders off guard and decided to be consistent and hit his marks. Leaving Austin knowing Deegan would put an aggressive pass on him if he got close, which he was, and that caused Austin to panic a bit I think. Which inevitably led to him crashing. I hope Austin is okay. Deegan could’ve had better timing on the podium in regards to what he said, but hey… he’s young and he deserves to celebrate his first real SX win. He was still respectful. To be a champion, you have to be brutally honest with yourself and not sugarcoat anything. That’s just how the kid rolls. He’s honest and one hell of a character. It makes the sport exciting!
