@@unreallyhooman Many got very confused with the stalker concept when it came together. Stalking is following and trying to get close after a court order stating you must stay away. You can say informally stalking is following someone with bad evil intent but without the court order that more spying unless you intend to attack. But there are many other reasons to spy on someone including the romantic classic your trying to work up the nerve. It the perception of the person being followed that judges the act. And by no means is it creepy until you know why it being done.

You forget, Sun is more laid-back and blasé than Blake is. She's something of a brooder, while Sun just goes with the flow. Something tells me he wouldn't particularly care what people think of him. While Blake would rather hide it to avoid unnecessary confrontation, Sun seems willing to invite it and shrug it off because he's comfortable with himself. Blake just kind of sinks in to the degradation of it all, not to the point of ever believing that Faunus are inferior to humans, but just with the negativity she's put up with in her life. That's what makes me satisfied with RWBY's characters, they're portrayed like actual human minds that process emotions differently.

Well said! I was pleasantly surprised when I read the comments on the Bmblb video because I know firsthand this fandom can get pretty nasty when it comes to shipping, so I just hope everyone can just enjoy the songs because they're so good this volume, one of my favorite soundtracks.

This was my most anticipated song from Volume 4 (next to Bad Luck Charm which, while good, left a little to be desired from me) and damn it didn't dissapoint. Sun and Blake took huge leaps forward in this volume in terms of character development, and this song shows all of that. Blake's inner turmoil mixed with Sun's sincerity made this duet perfect. I don't think it's the BEST song from this volume, but it's my personal fav. I'm so excited to see these two kick some White Fang (and hopefully Adam's) ass in Volume 5 ^.^

Sigma0426A the volume 4 intro shows us that there is only one character aside from blake who has adam looming over them as a personal "big bad" and that character is yang. "armed and ready" emphasizes this, as well as yang's recurring nightmares/ptsd flashbacks. i mean...he cut off her right arm, for crying out loud, while sun has only heard his name and doesn't have a clue as of yet that he's a huge part of blake's past. nope, the writers have gone to some lengths to show us that //ilia// is going to be sun's white fang fight (and hopefully it will be less of a fight and more of him winning her back to their side, because i like what we've seen of her and hope she sees the light). "next time i go up against lizard girl, it won't be for you. it will be to get even." he doesn't have a natural place in the fight against adam like yang does, so if for some reason they give that fight to him and not yang, it'll be a major storytelling flub (not to mention that sun is a side character so it makes more sense to pit him against a side villain rather than a main character's primary antagonist).

This song is so beautiful it is but I think this song also explains that Blake wants to be alone all the time because she was a Runaway girl that didn't want people to be harmed by the White Fang but Sun didn't want Blake to be guilty because she's not and thinks she's a nobody but she's strong than anyone else to her heart it really does. You see the thing that I hate about ships is when they don't actually become canon. I just have this bittersweet feeling y'know? I admit it's kinda dumb to stop watching a series simply because your ship didn't come true or whatever but it has happened to me where i stopped watching shows because of that (i know its dumb). I love this song so much more then I like Bmblb. Don't get me wrong, Bmblb is a great song, and I love the fuzzy feeling it has, but compared to this song it just feels weak. Looking at the lyrics and upbeat tone to it, Bmblb almost feels like it's Yang telling Blake to run away with her into this secret relationship, everything about it will be sunshine and roses, but that simply won't happen in reality. Compared to Like Morning Follows Night, it is basically Sun saying that things won't always be perfect, and he knows that, but he's going to stick with Blake through all the good and the bad that comes along. I suppose that's my reasoning behind liking this song more.

Yep! We saw how they were at the train station too. She was pining for him going away and when he said that they'd be together again at some point, she claimed she wants that too... before kissing him. Sun really brought her out of her shell but without him around, she seems to have shrunk back into it.

Yeah, Sun and Blake had a great dynamic. He is the reason it became RWBY again. He showed her how to love herself and accept the help of others. Sun was a perfect foil character for Blake and I am so sad they never became a thing.

@@ProjectDT88 I really do hope they become a thing, otherwise both a good character and plot would have been dropped for nothing. The set up is there and all it would take is some half decent writing to bring them back together where they had left off. Personally, if I was on the writing team, I'd have Sun breaking down once told by Winter what happened to Blake. A lot like the breakdown Yang went through. Sun would lash out in anger, not really take care of himself, then when Blake and the others make their way back to the real world, he would be in such a funk that he thinks he's hallucinating that Blake is back. She'd tell him things that were shared only between them, like how she wanted to be with him again at the train station and give him a hug. That would help snap him out of it and he'd begin his recovery with her help by his side. Maybe throw in a necklace like his own that he made to give her on her return that he had held onto while thinking she was dead, now giving to her now that they have been reunited. Anything with Blake and Yang... it looks horribly forced if they are trying to ship them. Not to mention the whole thing of having to ignore the many lies from Blake and the multiple abandonments that helped feed into Yang's PTSD. Add in that their 'love life' starting at murdering Blake's ex boyfriend soon after parting from the guy that she had been essentially dating for over a year and living with for at least half that time...

Yeah, but the shippers were louder, so now we are stuck with a pairing that has as much chemistry as water and oil. Its such a waste, they built Blake and Sun up from the very start, like, hearing heavenly choirs when someone winks at you is certainly not just some weird coincidence. But then Yang and Blake held hands while murdering a former corporate slave, so I guess that makes for a better couple... But I don't want to think about the writing in recent Rwby seasons and wasted potential again, I don't need another depressive episode

tbh i think blacksun would of worked out pretty well but. i think the reason why Bumblebee happened was bc Sun didnt have anymore plot relevance since beacon was gone and they probs didnt wanna bring suns team into any of the arcs so they just went with Bumblebee.

Based on my assessment with all of their interactions, 85% of their conversation was about the White fang and they had a small handful of moments where they talked about anything that doesn't involve the White fang. But given how it changed the course of Blake's character development after reuniting with her team, the conclusion I came to is that sun was mainly there to play a role as being a support figure for Blake to overcome the factor in her story arc that was presented back since volume 2, the girl who always run away. And considering we had little to no details about sun such as his backstory, goals to being a huntsmen or even a subplot of his own. It pretty much boiled down my view of sun as a side character serving a role and has finished his role. So he is no longer relevant to the main story unless something happens in v10. So we'll just have to wait and see.

Don't give up yet there is still a solid chance that Blake might still end up with Sun in future volumes hope for it and believe it. BLACKSUN has been built up with strong foundations of being there for someone who is in need This songs confirms the perfect life lesson we can get from these 2 amazing couple that we all agree on. and I'm pretty sure that we can apply these 2 lovers to ourselves to be there for the people in need Sun is the one of my favorite characters in the series His characteristics of being there for a friend and helping them out in stupid ridiculous dangerous ways that might bring troubles for His own life but He still chose to Help out Blake even though She pushes Him away but that didn't stop Him but pushes Him toward to Help Blake even more until She can stand up on Her own again.
