This is a very sad story. I actually met Irene Silverman to do some work for her for my company, and I was in her beautiful home - circa 1985 (I've only seen 30 minutes of this, but she showed me the picture/painting of her in the NYC Ballet - brought a lump to my throat). She was a loving, trusting (too much) person. People were always coming and going. Fast forward to the NY Times articles about her disappearance and subsequent death. I was heartbroken that people like the Kimes are out there. I'm not a vindictive person, but I hope Kenneth Kimes lives a LONG life and gets as close to parole on his 126 year sentence as is possible. RIP, Irene Silverman - you were a gentle, loving, giving soul.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS listen to your dogs. They know when people are up to no good. Three years ago my mom, and I were getting ready for a Christmas party on Christmas Eve. The front door was open, and the security door was closed. All of a sudden our 130 pound Newfoundland Black Lab mix started barking like crazy, the hair on his back was raised, his teeth were showing, and was lunging for the door. We went to the door to find out what was wrong. There was a guy there who was “selling” home security systems. We told him “We have a system, and our dog as well.” As the guy was walking off our dog tried to get through the front window. Yeah I’d say he wasn’t selling home security systems door-to-door on Christmas Eve. We called all our neighbors to let them know what was going on.

Devonte Huntley when my dogs hair is standing up on the his back, his tail is tucked under his butt, his ears are down, and he’s barking it’s because whoever is at my door is up to no good. I know the difference between my dog barking at some random person walking by my house, and my dog barking because he doesn’t trust whoever it is that is at my door.

The way Sante and Kenny planned Mrs. Silverman's murder, is so chilling. I remember seeing this when it first aired and the scene of the two of them in the suite, plotting their evil deed. just made my skin crawl.

Mary Tyler Moore just has an inherent appeal, which makes her performance of this vile character that much more tragic. Like you REALLY want to like her, but then she does something stupid, like burn her maids hand.
