This is a song I wrote to showcase and celebrate the lives of coal miners everywhere. Although this song was written for coal miners both past and present, it is especially dedicated to the life and memory Eric Legg.

This song is awesome thanks bubba! I’m a third generation miner everyone before me were coal miners. The mine up here in east central Ohio shut down before I was old enough to go under. I’m a mechanic in an underground limestone mine now. God bless yall

Always say i love to to your coal miners. They use it as courage against the dark mine. That is what my daddy always told me.

Spent 15 years mining coal. I did not quit the mine the mine quit me. Hay American after you shut down all the coal fired power stations and we run out of natural gas just sit in the dark.

Nope , son that’s your step father , he is a good man in my opinion . However I’m your Daddy , and I’m also a coal miner , in fact a boss who has been doing this all my life aside from serving in the Navy !! I will always love you son , you have 3/4’s of my heart , but nonetheless I’ll always be Dad !! I love you son and cannot wait till you come home from Korea , you have made me a VERY PROUD dad ! And , I’m sure you always will no matter where or what , I love ya son and can’t wait till you get home !! Love , your Daddy !!
