I was once gifted "The Zen of screaming" for a birthday, it changed so much for me. There are 2 dvds that come with audio for practicing in the car + loads of videos advocating for the techniques of Melissa cross, definitely check her out if you haven't already. I will never claim to be "good", but her techniques helped me tremendously. Even if you don't care about full "screaming", her techniques will help you get that rasp into your cleans. They will also prepare you for moments where you want to full yell/scream, like at 2:43. Good luck and have fun!

Train your diaphragm and scream incorrectly like Corey Taylor does it'll take you like 2 years to perfect it after you've learned near perfect pitch I order for it to sound like it was edited without being edited I've literally been a vocalist for over 15 yrs and it takes practice to accurately portray this because it is not a scream your forcing air through your diaphragm with relaxed yet forceful air whilst singing causing your vocal chords to distort. It is literally literally incorrect to use you4 chords this way yet if you master it it is worth the technique time and dedication you'll be surprised

I literally have no idea what I'm doing. I think it was born out of trying to hit notes that were a liiiitttle to high for me and then it just became like... singing while sad/bitter lol. I've tried to throw the grit on songs lower in my range and my throat hurts almost immediately. So I guess the technique is... yell while singing, unless it hurts :)

The use of distortion in your voice.. the progressive math rock usage, the early onset to the chorus.. you nailed the mordern day pop punk tones, and fused in some classic melodies.. its honestly a masterpiece. SOTY for me, and you were going up against a lot of artists who released some bangers so far
