I remember the video where the kids met Daisy for the first time. And Mike told Cadie, "she'll never remember a time where you aren't part of the family." I thought about that quote when I looked at the marshmallow roasting. Daisy will always grow up knowing her as big sister. And honestly, I think Timmy will as well. As he gets older, his memories of the time before Cadie came home will fade. I certainly don't remember when I was 3 years old. So the two youngest kids will always think that she was a part of the family all along. It's so sweet 😊

12:35 I also grew up playing in the rain. Y’all’s story of dancing in the rain at a date reminds me of the time my husband and I went outside and played\danced in the rain together. It was so much fun and we felt like teens again, but coming in I slipped on the kitchen tile, whacked my face off the floor as a result, and got a concussion. It was still fun, and I’d do it again.
