Hi, firstly great playing! I'm thinking of gettin one of these for jazz stuff, in your videos it sounds incredible. One question though, did you put some 'foamy" material on the F-holes? Did you have trouble with feedbacking? In gigs and live situations maybe? Thanks a lot!
@StevenRichisonGuitar4 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for your comment! At the time of making this video, I did have some foam in the f-holes. I put the foam in there the previous day for a gig where I had to stand very close to my amp and I forgot to remove it before making this video. It's nothing specific to this guitar, but feedback from a hollowbody is common when playing through a loud amp, especially if you are standing right next to it. :)

Love it! Do you prefer this version or bruno major's version?

Hi, nice chord melody! Is the guitar stock or have you changed anything? Flatwound strings?
@StevenRichisonGuitar5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. The guitar is all stock except for I have changed the strings to a set of Thomastik Infeld flatwounds on the EADG strings and I put elixir acoustic strings on the B and high e strings.

@@StevenRichisonGuitar elixir acoustics on the B&E? explain please? aren't they solid plain steel strings?
@StevenRichisonGuitar5 жыл бұрын
Yes, they are plain steel. The B & e strings that come on a whole set of flat wound strings are also plain steel, so after mine got a little worn out, I changed those 2 strings only to elixir coated acoustic strings. I kept playing with the wound E,A,D,G strings from the flat wound set because I liked that they sounded more mellow after being played for a while. The elixir B & e acoustic strings last longer, and match the mellow tone of the flat wounds a little better in my opinion, so I prefer this setup.@@geoffrobson2493

Hi Steven whats a good entry level amp to buy for jazz hollow body guitar?
@StevenRichisonGuitar3 жыл бұрын
I think the Roland Cube series is good for a more affordable solid state option. If you can afford to get a tube amp, I can only recommend Fender amps as it's all I've ever owned. I don't use an amp much anymore, but these are the ones I have experience with :)

Yo Steve what strings you got on there?

What's with the F-holes ?
@StevenRichisonGuitar5 жыл бұрын
I had some foam stuffed in the f-holes to prevent my guitar from feeding back on a gig the other day and I just never removed it.
