@@annamalais2870 yes based on 2 things.... ETH is in his 2nd season and is coming under fire from all angles. Go back in history and check Arteta's and Klopp's 2nd season. They were given time and transformed their teams. Secondly, Arsenal with Saliba injured last season they failed to win the league and most of the people agreed with that point. But ETH with 60+ injuries whenever he brings that point up people see it as an excuse rather than a reason.

We were solid against Arsenal even with all the injuries so my question is why haven’t we played like that all season. His tactics have been awful this season apart from when we play against Arsenal and Liverpool. Also not playing Amad who is clearly far better than Antony and not playing Amrabat who is far better defensively than Eriksen. So many bad decisions that he deserves to get sacked imo.

It was the most sensible "approach" taken by Arteta. He clearly has learnt from last season. Man United's "comfort zone" is attacking space but it isn't to break down teams, certainly with this squad with 12-13 injured and against the best defensive team. Some people might say that Arteta outclassed Ten Hag or Arsenal "didn't come out of 2nd gear", that's not true. United started Amrabat and Mainoo in middle, both "retention" players. Also, you could clearly see the tactical shift from Ten Hag - dropping Amrabat in a back 3 to outnumber Arsenal's pressing front 2. The setup of Ten Hag was pretty good but again, if you have to break a mid/low block, you need quality from the wings. Arsenal actually were okay with Garnacho but only to "cross the ball" because Saliba and Gabriel are good box defenders. Garnacho's crossing and decision making was poor at times but when he did beat White on 2-3 times, he missed the wonderful shooting opportunities also, albeit from far. Ten Hag isn't clueless, he isn't an idiot. He deserves criticism but the problem is we find scapegoats and absolutely "discredit" what he did last season and why he was brought in for a process in the first place. If Arsenal had our injury record, their lineup wouldn't have Saliba (Martinez), Gabriel (Varane), Tomiyasu (Maguire), Kiwior (Lindelof), Zinchenko (Shaw), Timber (Malacia), Partey/Jorginho (Mount), Trossard/Martinelli (Rashford), Odegaard (Bruno). And btw, Arsenal "derailed" last season because "1 CB", Saliba got injured.

Anyone who expected Utd to get anything out of this game is deluded. Player for player arsenal are stronger. Look at the bench too ffs. Injuries and a squad full of bang average mid-table level players and we are where we deserve to be. The players are still fighting overall - they just arnt good enough. @@geneedochie2922 what manager do you know who has dealt with what ETH has had to deal with and been successful? -mason greenwood saga -Ronaldo / piers Morgan -Jaden Sancho 1 - gave him 3 month holiday mid season to help with a personal matter -jaden sancho 2 - player goes on strike - super professional reaction however which way you look at it -Antony allegations back in Brazil - his removal from squad when needed -65+ injuries might be at 70 now for the season. Nearly an average of 3 per player. Decimated our defence which was best in prem last season… -lost the following strikers - Ronaldo, cavani, greenwood, martial (United for season). Brought in weghorst…and then rasmus (promising but massive pressure as the only recognised striker this season) -no recognised left back for half season (board ending reguillon loan early to save a few million in wages and loan fee inspite of these issues. Great backing here…) -unrest caused by the protracted glazer sale…uncertainty bled through to all staff at Utd -shite transfer team / sporting directors (mostly all gone now…what a surprise) -wanted de Jong & Kim min-jai, got an overpriced Casemiro (panic buy) at the backend of his career and Jonny Evans - who has arguably been our best defender again highlighting who he has at his fingertips. -couldn’t sell any of the players in the squad due to owner valuations (over priced) and their wages being too expensive for other clubs (Maguire). He is stuck with the mistakes of old. Like his predecessors. Will that change this summer? Ineos? Hope so but doubt it as still glazers with final say. -Marcus rashford - what the f has happened to him? Although I do blame ETH for sticking with him for too long…other players should have been given a chance. Another player earning crazy money killing off the chance of selling him…a squad blocker. Jesus himself couldnt get a song out of this lot. Turning water into wine is easier but that is what ten hag has been expected to do.

1. Good job to the journalists for not being toxic this time round. They should keep questions objective and reasonable. 2. INEOS have a lot of work to do. The squad needs to be replaced. Like Ralf Rangnick said, 10, 11 players need to leave and others need to be signed. It's clear players like Johnny Evans and Casemiro and quite a number of other injury prone players, lazy players or old and others lacking talent and passion should be let go. This is URGENT.

People just talk tactics but keep ignoring the elephant in the room, namely the players' mentality. It's a process to change their mentality, sometimes they fall back to bad habits. Ole said some players didn't want to play. As professionals and playing for a big club, not wanting to play is real damning indicator how weak the dressing room is. Even Pep, Klopp and Arteta needed time to change mentality in their squad. Remember how Pep needed to convince his players to be brave on the ball? Or Klopp singling out players who can't deal with minor knocks? Or Arteta going ballistic over his team not putting in the effort? They too needed years but EtH is only into Year 2 and with such an injury list. I've always believed the problem at Utd is the culture and mentality of the players. Because we've seen it all before under Jose, Ole, Rangnick. No tactics in the world is going to come good if the applications aren't up to the mark.

Garnacho overhyped so far, Hojlund needs to improve drastically, Rashford needs to make up his mind if he wants to stay or leave this summer. Antony needs to work on the physical part of his game. Bruno needs to play his position. Mount, Malacia and Shaw need to be sold if their injuries cannot be fixed, we cannot have another Martial situation. Casemiro, Varane and Eriksen need to go. All these players needs to be replaced with young first team modern level quality players. Ten Hag is not the problem. The structure above him needs to be put in place as soon as possible as well. Back the Manager and make these changes.

Erik Ten Hag downfall started with amateur handling of Cristiano Ronaldo, David De Gea, Sancho and others. He demonstrated he doesn’t poses the top player management expertise. He disrespected our club legend and best striker Ronaldo and the way he treated De Gea is beyond embarrassing. His tactical choices are poor and his coaching skills are nowhere good to manage a big club. He got all the players he wanted except De Jong. Every player he brought in is either a flop or injured all the time. The injuries are the only excuse he’s been grabbing on this season. It is not like you have Ronaldinho and Maldini injured but Marital and Malacia. If your whole team depends on Lisandro Martinez then you should not be coaching a premier league club.
