'Like the Old West' - chilling shootout in New Orleans caught on video

Two women were shot and injured as shots rang out - loudly - in a New Orleans neighborhood over the weekend.
One of the neighbors say it sounded like something out of the Old West.

I'm from new Orleans and I used to be in the streets, I'm also 4 years sober since June. I'm telling you right now that rap/ hip-hop has a huge part in all this. I'm telling you that as someone who listened to strickly rap and hip hop for 17+ years and participated in acts of guns violence myself on several occasions
