NOTES :Tita was a Aunt was sensitive to onions, she felt love for the kitchen , Mama Elena was the grandma ,Tita had a sixth sense, Tita was delighted by food. Mama Elena sausage making was a ritual all women participated peeling them until dark, Mama Elena said Tita was the one who has to take care of her until she died, and couldn’t marry, Mama has said that Tita has to bow for before her mother’s tradition. She cried from the day she was born, Tita wondered why she was the one who had to cursed to not marry , and obey her mother with no questions, Mama Elena seemed to set her anger against her daughter and Tita seemed rebellious against the unfair rules. There relationship is rocky.
