Love mine. Had it just over a year now and it’s been fantastic. Casio have updated the app as well and it now works without issue. If you love G-Shocks (like me), you’re wanting a step tracker and you don’t care about your watch buzzing at you like a phone, just get a GBA-800. You won’t regret it :-)

I initially wanted the 35th anniversary but I HATE seeing the quartz ticking second hand! This is a perfect normal size and although I could care less about the smart/connectivity of this watch this is the one for me! Looks inspired by the Hublot Big Bang King...just love it!!!

A few day with my new GBA800, and really like it. Hands are very legible even w/o my 'old man' readers. I don't mind the negative lcd screen, as I don't use those digital functions often. Though I wish there was just only 1 stopwatch, 1 countdown timer, but as it is the settings are complex and for advanced sports use. I mainly use the step counter, alarms, and hourly chime. LED light is awesome- wish the auto light would only work when it's dark, then I'd set it and forget it. Strap is comfortable but the skin side of the clasp has sharp areas that are uncomfortable - unsure if that's the design of it or if mine is faulty.

I got gba 800 4 aer and I love it. The only down side is that since it orange, it gets dirty on the band at the bottom. Do you know how to clean it? Soap and water doesn’t work...

Oh boy, thats my biggest fear with light tone matte band. They picked up colors from your shirt & jeans very easily and keep them there. I tried several method before to clean my GN-1000 Yellow Gulfmaster, the stain just won't came off. Not entirely at least. Soaked it in laundry detergent water for few days then brush it throughly with dish soap. Should help a bit A more riskier method is to soak it in stronger substance like bathroom/floor detergent. That could remove the stain but also pale the orange color at the same time. Goodluck!

Great review of a great watch...i own ome for about 3 months now...there is only one thing i can't find out...if you hold the mode button for about 2 or 3 seconds, two arrow come up...van you tell me what that is?

That is ‘quick return’. Use this to return back to home time keeping after you entered any other mode. This is just a quick access feature so that you don’t have to pressing ‘mode’ button multiple times just to cycle back to home time.

If the hands are misaligned, you could set it up to match the digital time display. All from your phone.

I don’t think you could connect to other app. The watch will keep counting your steps even when not connected to your phone.

They have totally different functions though. But if the price is cheap, I'd rather get the GA1000 as well. The GBA-800 will always be available to grab another time.

@@gshockhighfashion i agree they're really different but i like the complicated temperature sensor & digital compass features of the ga 1000. but conversely, i adore the simplicity of the gba 800, not to mention its smaller size when compared to the ga 1000. these old school gravity masters are now being sold for roughy Y17k brand new. not much pricier than the gba 800, i believe.

I got yesterday blue one. Look awesome. I only confused in the application. There is the item "Adjusting the home positions" , it does not work properly. Can you tell me please is it with every model so, or maybe my watch has such a problem?

That is setting will be used if the Hour OR Minute hands weren’t aligned properly to the digital display. Similar type of setting as the ‘Hand Adjust/Set’.

Hi, you Can memorate several timers on the G-Shock App.(approximatively 200 timers), and send it to your watch. After you used your timer, then touched your screen on "share", you can do this on Instagram app.(feed, story and on direct), then on Facebook or Tumblr. First of all, it purposes you to choose your"wall" with many purposes, either by choosing your camera roll picture, or by choosing few images of G-Shock on purpose

They all looks good. I like grey, green, and black, so thats my pick. Just choose your favourite colours. If you're into outdoor activities maybe consider getting the latest ones with reflective stripes instead of the regular ones.

This is for chronometer function. When you push on upper right button, on Split or Lap model, it make memory of tour(s) and /Lap or Split Time on"Rec" model

Hold adjust for 2 sec then press mode until LT comes up then press start to change it to 3 or press reset to switch back to 1.5 seconds

This is the first time I heard about this. This is interesting finding to be shared with the others! Unfortunately we can't turn OFF the counter but it is possible for us to erase/reset the steps prior to a workout or activities.

This watch was programmed to only register a movement as step after 10 seconds straight of movement. Waving hand as you’re doing desk work most likely won’t be count as step most of the time.

The problem is the height of the watch. I mean the lug to lug distance is very big in comparison with the case diameter of the watch. I think ga 2000 fits much better on small wrists

It's time for Casio to start using cr 2025 and cr2032 type batteries in their g shocks because they last atleat 5years and more. Cr2016 is a very small battery lasts for less then 2years if you use functions and light and alarms on daily basis.
