I drive a 2023 AMT non turbo Kiger, and here is my experience with it. Pros: - manoeuvrable in tight spaces - fuel economy ~ 6 L/100 km - spacious boot - came with an actual spare wheel - and, can wash quickly at home 😊 Cons: - bad ride quality (amplifies effect of humps and bumps) - feels really underpowered going up inclines - jerky gear shifts (you really feel them within the cabin, very annoying) - cabin very noisy when cruising - generates annoying vibrations beyond 70 km/hr - door handles not properly placed - bad interior lighting - no light in the glove box - no light or power outlet in the boot - range calculator badly configured, it reads range in multiples of ten & when it reaches 60 km next reading is nothing just dashed lines. Can't tell whether you have enough to go to the next fuel station! That's what I've noticed so far, will update in due course if I pick something new about it...

The seat belt issue is the biggest issue I have seen in kiger. Next one is underpowered 1L non turbo engine. Other than that trust me there is absolutely no issue in car. Its a superb car I own it.

@@kristrails07 AC cools without stopping. In 2023 model i have for 3 months 2500km non turbo. I drove at 46 degrees in delhi. Ac chills the cabin without delays. AC is brilliant it never tripped. It seems like engine gives priority power to ac first then for driving. That is why it feels sometimes underpowered when full ac is on. But thats okay. You can easily do with this boring engine. It is enough.

@@Vishal-yl2lx hi vishal. Thank you for the reply. So in short you are happy with the vehicle right. If I buy I'll be going for the 7 yrs warranty and 3 years maintenance package. I live in Mumbai. But plan to relocate to hp once things settle down there. I've heard from a few hp people too the after sales there is good. Hence was inquiring with you a out the car over all. I hope you are safe there in Delhi and wish that environment settles there soon too.

@@kristrails07 I am very happy with the car. but wait hp->himachal pradesh? .. oh if you are planning to relocate there then buy only turbo model because 1L non turbo is okay if you are visiting once every 2-3 years. but if you are living in hill areas you will need turbo model. Because non turbo model requires you to stay on 1st and 2nd gear most of the time in hill areas. for hill areas non turbo will feel underpower.

@@Vishal-yl2lx yup. Relocate to Hp. I Was going for turbo only. But my main concern was the ac. Which you and a few others said it won't really be. If it cools in Delhi, i dont see it being a issue in Hp. So that's sorted. Thank you though. Hope you stay safe. God bless.

you can make proximity sensor to sleep by long pressing lock button on the key...so auto unlock will stop working .

You can turn off that auto unlocking feature and continue to use the unlock button in the key

The only issue with this vehicle is under powered engines even the turbo. Took a ride of it yesterday. Such a let down for such a good vehicle. Space and practicality is next level. You get all bells and whistles that you need except sunroof which I feel is ok. But engine needs a upgrade . It’s really really a let down. In this Summer with AC own the vehicle really struggles to a up climb. I am talking about the Turbo variant

Turbo is underpowered? What car do you drive daily? A Porsche? I have seen Kiger CVT turbo beating Sonet Creta DCTs by a long mile

@@user-dp48ry5 I felt it underpowered especially on climb with 5 people onboard. And it was not a big steep. I am driving VW AMEO DSG Diesel TDI and never felt the same in my car.

@@Anjuraj probably you drove a manual. Try CVT automatic. It flies up gradients. It will beat even your Ameo diesel. Trust me, it will.

Are you guys sure about the mileage figures ? My RXZ turbo MT gives around 20kmpl on highways and 12-13 kmpl in bangalore city traffic. Just FYI that My Kiger is 11months old and I have clocked 12k kms.

I am having cvt to variant, City gives 12 and in highway 18 Few things to be noted here. There is a console to check out our way of driving, it will give score based on our driving. If you have more than 90% you can get the above milege.

Hi I am planning to buy a brand new car My budget is 13-14 Lakhs for Auto Transmission sub 4 mtr C Suv, and after some 15+ Test Drives of most of the C-Suvs, I have shortlisted @Renault Kiger RXZ Turbo CVT, @MarutiBrezza ZXI AT, @Nissan Magnite XV CVT and @HyundaiVenue S(O) DCT Pls suggest which one I should go for. The kiger anyday as per your list. The korean vehicles won't agree to your gncap requirement. I have done similar testing of lot of these vehicles and even of astor. But frankly the rxz cvt turbo meets all those requirements in terms of safety, VFM and relevant features for long drives like a cooled box, back support and cruise control, wireless connectivity. I hate sunroofs too. Just booked a cvt rxz 30 mins ago. Renault service is real good. Be it Mumbai and even in himachal(my friend stays there.) . I'm sure elsewhere also it will be. But I suggest you take the 7 years warranty and easy care package too with the car.

I was told by the Renault sales person that Kiger MT would give me a fuel efficiency of at least 17 kmpl on highway. But you've said it's only 13. It's kind of a deal breaker for me, considering the engine is only 1 litre and 3 cylinders.

Seatbelt isn't a big issue for a regular user. I can easily do that. But that thick a A piller is a big issue.

What is your budget?. Brezza has removed hybrid technology from their manual variants. so mileage drops to 17.5 in arai tests . So real world range will be affected too. If you are going for manual gearbox I would definitely recommend kiger . I’m getting 18-20 mileage on mixed conditions. If you are planning for automatic the real word mileage of brezza may be higher that kiger. People who have driven kiger cvt has better word of mouth though. Due to the driving dynamics

Simple solution for proximity lock/unlock; give people the ability to switch it on/off🧠. Renault needs to fix this otherwise looks like nice car good value 👍

No car is perfect, whether its BMW, Merc, Audi or even our very own Hyundai. As a matter of fact, neither are we humans! I own RXZ CVT varient & love it!! Apart from its good looks, I feel its the most VFM vehicle. Yes, the mileage is on a lower side (only 9-10 kms/ltr), however for me other features make it up. Very spacious, sturdy & stable vehicle...don't understand what ppl are complaining about...if you feel its underpowered, go spend more bucks to buy either a Creta/Harrier/Hector instead. Even the interiors are not bad. Have been in VW Taigun & Skoda Khusaq too, they are pathetic! Look at various reviews in BHP. I wld recommend this vehicle to anyone, who has a budget for a compact SUV!

Just done booking formalities for the cvt turbo rzx. I love the black color. But for now have booked blue. Told them when I visit the stockyard I'll finalize the color. They have white, black, brown, blue in stock. Which one you think stands out in kiger leaving black( as black already does, but second to black which other color). Sadly they don't have red and I don't want to wait too red comes
