Discovering G-funk is one of the best things that happened to me this year. This dude not only raps nicely but got beats that make me feel like I'm on a beach with palm trees on the boulevard while a gentle breeze is keeping the temperature perfect. The synth @ 0:20 is heavenly 😍

I remember grabbing this after hearing Snoop shout him out on lil ghetto boy! That how we picked what we were gonna buy back then when there was no social media to promote artists. We would hear a rapper shout out one of their homeboys or hear them on a feature. Then spread the word to all of our friends on which albums were good or not!

See at 0:43 the way he pulls his mask down. Thats what I was doing in Long Beach everyday that feeling of being disgusted with yourself but you still gotta pull that mask down to make a living and eat or to kill an enemy. See when you first join the gang it seems cool but after a while you feel like a demon and disgusting with yourself pullin that mask down like that 0:43. You in the car ridin around but then you got to do your job. And you dropped out highschool. So now your in your mid 20s still doin this shit. Its not fun no more girls dont think your cool anymore they all got jobs but this is the only way you can make a living. Look at his hands the way he pulls his mask down. Thats what i was doing in the 70s 80s 90s. Look at the way he pulls it down like he crying inside n disgusted with the way hes got to live. What you know bout that you dont know nothin. N being in a gang aint always about shooting sometimes you aint got a gun most of the time you dont. So you got to workout n not be afraid if the other guys got a knife or gun while your walking home. You would go to jail so fast if you relied on a gun that much. The longer you in this life though the better of an idea it is to keep a gun with you at all times n go to jail rather that than a casket n thats real. Westside SonS of Samoa. But the messed up part is the longer you stay in this life the more you learn how to do things manuever n not get caught but its get more dangerous. So its like a double edged sword I had this on cassette and rode around listening to it. Saw the music video and the way he pulled his mask down resonated with me like at first it was cool but then I had to keep doing it but thats all i knew i was stuck in that life couldnt get a job i was a felon Eastside Long Beach Now if that doesnt prove thats me in those videos im not sure what would. N this game aint free it costs your life i dont give free game out like that somebody gone die or a lot of people really nobody
