That's why the DA keep asking these questions. They want to show that these guys are trying to help the defense. Not saying it's a guaranteed strategy but like you said, jury not stupid. At this point they don't have many choices, since these guys have decided that they don't want to be snitches on tv.

You’re right, they’re not dumb. The same way they’ll see how witnesses are remembering and cooperating with the defense, they also see how every single state witness makes comments about the state forcing them, blackmailing them in a way to testify. They also see how everything they bring up it’s always “we have reason to believe” no real solid evidence to prove a rico.. they also see 90% of these witnesses have already serve time for all these 2015 crimes committed.
