I also wonder if the xodus is compatible with their paints

I just purchsed the primary set and the thinner. Hopefully the medium isnt necessary because ive not painted with medium before. Ive only used winton oils and xodus thinning oil so im hoping to stay with familiar painting styles

If you got the Gemini thinner that is all you will need for the paints but the Xodus thinning oil will also work in these paints. I am finding all the new heat set paints on the market work with the Xodus thinning and should work also with the Gemini and BC Heatset fluid type thinners. The only thing I have found to be a bit tricky is the IRHSP Liquithin. It does not work as well with Wintons as it takes the Wintons some air cure time with it.

@LilDumplins yea I got the liquithin and don't use it. Next question, do you know if the bc liquid medium is compatible with gemini? If so I'd have all the thinner I need with the xodus, gemini thinner and bc liquid!

@@jamiejamerson15 I have not specifically tried the BC with the Gemini paints but I have pretty good feeling it will work because she says it can be used with other heat set paints like Genesis. Usually, if it will work with Genesis it will work with the other heat set brands.

Are you using a nuwave oven to bake in? If so what power level and how long are you cooking it?
@LilDumplins2 ай бұрын
@ravenwilliams3092 Yes I use my NuWave and set at 270F degrees for 9 mins for my Paints. For the varnish I used s 270F degrees for 12 mins. Check after cooled and if needed, do a 2nd bake on the varnish. They say 12-15 mins on the varnish but I rather bake twice than go 15 mins.
