Just a heads up about First Descendant for anyone that plays, that company (Nexon) is insanely predatory on MTX. I played one of their games back in 2010ish and they had MTX rentals for guns. You paid real money to rent a gun for a month or 2 then they took it back. They also are big into mobile games and are a Korean company. They will power creep that game and lock it all behind severe paywalls eventually even if they are honeydicking the playerbase into sticking around at the beginning. Haven’t played the game myself because I have a massively negative opinion of Nexon but be cognizant of how fast they’ll try to take the playerbase for everything they’re worth.

For the past couple of years I have given up on public multiplayer in games. The cheating culture has taken over. From rage cheating to overflow stack injects causing other people to crash, it is the saddest most toxic environment I have ever seen in my over twenty years of multiplayer. Now it's only coop and private matching for me. With only an occasional dip into multiplayer shortly after a game release before the cheats take over. I don't even bother with 2k multiplayer because I don't want to deal with potential hacking and I don't want to deal with the monetization formula that 2k goes with. We live in the worst of times when it comes to multiplayer gaming and there is nothing the devs can do about it because scumbags are using in-the-middle hardware for cheating on consoles and pc. No anti-cheat software can deal with that other than AI analysis which will never be 100% effective.

I've always wondered why you dont say this in your intro: "I need you all to grab your brews and lets get right into the NEWS!"? EA Football 25, i went with linebacker 5 star and playing for Notre Dame. If you try this exact route, you will see some flaws with the game. Im a casual football fan so its mainly me but I wanted to try something new. Flight 2k life sentence, just read the bottom of the popup. Error codes should never get anyone banned. I never want to start a game with AI but I dont mind playing against/with AI. 25 3 ball open or not, should miss more times than it goes in. AI making 25 attribute 3 balls is not ok. Face Scans still being bad quality in 2024 is wild to me. City Size and Face Scans are the least of our problems when it comes to 2k though. These are distractions from the real issues. Cheating/Glitching will always happen because not everyone has the same time/patience to play video games. Plus people use this as entertainment and make money from these types of exploits. People will always do this for the rest of time, for all video games or products in general.
