@rks54573 жыл бұрын
@@kellykelz9980 it wasn't just paying to be in acting schools, it's that cube has a long history and massive connections in hollywood from starring in and producing movies for over 20 years. Lil E couldve prob found a way to get some experience w theater or student productions from his name alone. A lot of actors never even went to film, theater, acting schools. It looks like part of it was a lack of motivation to act and likely others who didn't mentor him. No he couldn't have. You can't just pick up the ability to act on a whim even with a good coach. It's like singing. If you can't sing you just can't sing. You can get a bit better with the help of a vocal coach but you're never going to be a good singer regardless.

Man he speaks so intelligently and I'm glad to see that. I'm happy that even tho he lost his father he seems to still cherish his memory and legacy. As well as being a smart man. I can tell just by the way he chooses his words carefully as he talks. "Grandma" as he referred to, seems to have done a great job :). It's sorta bittersweet because I would love to see Eazy alive today and up there with Jay-Z, Cube, Dre, etc as one of the staples in hip hop..

I disagree Cube should have had him polish to play his dad who better to do It ? his son It's no different then a agent giving a client some training before auditions It's the right thing to do so he can honor his dad Shame On Cube Eazy made him famous
@91Definite5 жыл бұрын
QueenAnita Soul I truly agree Cube was Eazy homie back in the day! If you didn’t go to the funeral at least give his son a chance to represent his father in a honorable way! Seeing O’Shea and Lil Eazy E would be epic! Cube owe Eazy so much! Why not give his son that shot? That song “Growing Up” from Laugh Now Cry Later speaking on Eazy and his son isn’t enough to me! He should’ve did more for Eazy family

He might not say it but I understand that frustration of having to vie for yourself, after a parent especially someone that was as influential and respected as Easy was, passes away and everyone who was supposed to look out for you looks the other way. Cube is going to make sure his son is set no matter what, Easy’s kids had to start all over while being hood famous which amounts to nothing but a painful memory their Dad isn’t here anymore.

Seeing Jr takes me back to my childhood crush on Eazy sr. Eazy had a distinct voice and his sons voice is the closest I've heard...all Jr had to do was lose weight and I say it definitely would've been possible for him to play his father and if not him, his brother - the 1 that's actually the same height & weight as their father - should've been considered.

A lot of the discrepancies in Straight Outta Compton seem to me like they weren't really malicious. It was either because it made for better script (e.g. Eazy getting beat up) or because it was simpler (e.g. leaving Arabian Prince out). Some stuff was def to make Dre & Cube look better (e.g. leaving out the Dee Barnes incident, making it look like Eazy was all upset about the Chronic, etc.). But most was probably because it would have just taken too long to explain.

They didn't want Lil Eazy to get the part because he actually cares about Eazys legacy and would've wanted to show the 100% truth in the movie. They knew he wouldn't agree to do the scenes that were historically complete bullshit. For example, the shot where they showed Eazy crying after seeing the Dr Dre album billboard (When in REAL LIFE, Eazy actually received at least 20% of the money that album made without having to lift a finger, so if anything he would've been crying from laughter!)

Doesn’t matter who played e but in my opinion nobody could make us feel so emotional like lil eazy could. You could have the best actor playing e but seeing lil eazy collapsing in the studio or seeing lil eazy in that hospital bed only him could make us feel something nobody else could cause it’s real
@isaacshaver6218 Жыл бұрын
They made the right call. The weight loss would have been dangerous & the hospital stuff. The dude who played E nailed it. . . and he had that look down. Lil E looks like his own man, but it would of been Kool if the characters children could of portrayed them. That would definitely be an interesting gimmick for the movie.
