Ice Cube is spot on when he says working with new actors is the best, because when you are telling a story, you don't see the A-list famous actor playing a character, you see the character. Since your brain doesn't have any pre-conceived ideas of that new actor, you immerse easier in the character. His son did a great job, the likeness helped a lot to see young Ice Cube and his performance was really good. The rest of the cast also did a great job, no one seemed out of place or miscast.

I am on a journey through this life on earth. NWA is on of the things i experienced so far during this journey. And although i never was a huge fan of NWA it was and still is part of my life anyway. I was rather into R&B and Miami Hip Hop like MC Shy D, 2 Live Crew and other bands back then but still had my ears into songs from NWA as well. And throughout the years Ice Cube and Dr. Dre had solo careers with songs i really loved. Cube has a voice that catches you right away.
