Yeah any lgbtq topic funky bulldozes them and has to have the last word as the gay messiah. Al nor Claudia said anything bad about zaya. And I agree with them. Zaya can share her truth but now she is opening herself up to everyone’s opinions and criticisms and that’s what concerns me. Not that she’s trans but because people will attack her (as they are doing now) and it makes me nervous. That’s all they’re saying. We know Gabrielle and Dwayne are capable parents but that doesn’t mean they are without reproach.

I usually agree with Funky Dineva but he completely missed the mark on the Zion Wade discussion. Expressing concern for the decision of a minor to transition to another sex has nothing to do with sexuality. This is not a gay or straight topic. This is a child wellfare topic and frankly, many parents make poor choices and allow their children to make decisions they are not ready to make. Many people including myself believe it is harmful for a child to be able to decide to dismember themself before they have reached full mental and emotional maturity. There have been many studies on people who have transitioned to the opposite sex and later regretted it with longterm physical damage and side effects. Any person (gay or straight) has every right to weigh in on this topic.

Being a parent isn’t easy. It doesn’t come with a handbook and we do what we think is best for them. I wouldn’t let my pre-teen get a tattoo let alone something so complex as gender reassignment for children. Now once you become an adult, I will be there to support my child with whatever they feel like they want do. I believe as adults we have to learn that just because someone doesn’t agree with you on a certain topic, it doesn’t mean that person hates someone. I just wish one day people would be able to have a mature conversation without thinking someone hates another person based off of a disagreement.

I AGREE with everything she said 100% as soon as someone gives their opinion. Knowing that we were raised with any of that in our face on TV or anything. We were raised that none of this was right and they need to understand that and every time somebody says something about how they feel they all get bent out of shape. I got plenty of people that I know in my family that are like this but it still doesn't change the fact of how we were raised and this being shoved down our throats put on TV all over the place some people are born this way but some children see it as a means to experiment. I don't agree with none of it I don't disrespect nobody and I got friends and family that are and I love them but I don't agree with the force-fed agenda and every time somebody says something then they want to cancel you and or bully you 4real, this shit is crazy we just living in the last days it's all over the place. Example: the Pope say he can't sanction gay marriages. But they can sanction pedophilia, okayed Slavery in the world, helped the Nazi's to escape, why they lie about Jesus being a person of color. So should I go on? Oh yeah, they killed all of Templars bc they held more power then the Catholic Church. So please the catholic church not marrying Gays, Hallelujah that God knows the truth about hearts.

That's not true. A lot of opinions from the heterosexual community are rooted in hate and judgment towards the LGBTQ+ community. It is nothing wrong with asking a question about something that you don't know, but most of the time its heterosexual ppl bashing the LGBTQ+ or making blanketed statements and not wanting to learn...only wanting to be heard and make the LGBTQ+ the butt of their jokes. When Funky speaks on heterosexual or women's issues, he is not speaking from a place of hate or judgement but rather a critical point of view (although his views and opinions can be wrong). At the end of the day, the LGBTQ+ are human beings still living the same human experience so although he may not have kids, he was once a kid and is around ppl w/ kids. Although he may not date women, he still dates men and knows the mind/actions of a man. There is nothing wrong with making statements about the LGBTQ+ or having ur own views, its just when you make those statements, you have to keep an open mind that you could never live their experience or know the exact truth because you don't face those same struggles when it comes to your sexuality. LGBTQ+ is not a choice, vs everything else you listed that involves a choice (that is the main difference).

Zaya's parent support is separate from the public's scrutiny/support. They can support the child while the public can make Zaya a poster child for something that Zaya may change their mind on next week being 13. Zaya may feel that they can't change their mind because the public is looking up to them as this poster child of the movement. THAT'S what Claudia and Al are expressing. Plus, who's to say Gabrielle is making the best decisions for someone else's child especially when there has been a lot of conflict? I've heard stories about them behind the scenes 😳.
@lilliebrown8144
@lilliebrown8144 3 жыл бұрын
Regarding Zaya Wade has a mother her name is Siohvaughn Funches. This really bothers me because I see people do this all the time and it's offensive to me. Whatever your relationship with your ex is with them. I hate when the children are affected by this. He has one child with Gabrielle Union. Two with first wife and one when he was on a break from Gabrielle. 🤔 I agree with Al regarding Zaya don't really understand the magnitude of he's too young. I say that because he still has his male anatomy. No I'm not homophobic. Even though you support just be careful, you don't want to buckle under pressure and become a poster child of trans, that too much pressure. Funk Denva I don't agree with regarding Kim and Drake. The statement you made was a little insulting as a single parent that raised three sons and a daughter. There are some men who are okay with that, I know first hand. Drake has a son, yes he has been a playboy. Both are rich, please that's a rich person's problem.
@dpcisunbreakable
@dpcisunbreakable 3 жыл бұрын
So because you are a parent, and a mother specifically, your bias is clearly clouding your judgment. Tell me something, before you dropped her name, did Siohvaughn Funches speak to the media, file a legal complaint, make an issue known so her desire to be involved was legitamized? I have yet to see that, so until Zaya's mother shows a desire to be involved in her daughter's life, her opinions means zero. Y'all do this to men when they produce offspring they don't see, so the same principle applies here too.

"If your second grader knows they have a crush, why can they not know they are trans?" Wow. Amazing line. I would honestly brush off either one. I don't care that you have a crush. I don't care that you're trans. You're a second grader, did you bathe today?? Like come on folks, this is getting old.

Well that's easy for you to say, because had your second grader as a boy said he had a girlfriend, a part of you would be jumping for joy. And don't pretend I'm wrong. And brushing off when your child is seeking your support at that developmental stage is very dangerous. I hope your children don't grow up and reject you because they feel rejected by you "honestly brushing them off."

@@dpcisunbreakable only you elderly philistines are still talking about this as a problem. I will NEVER have a problem with any of my children loving ANYONE. What I’m not going to do is sexualize my second grader because some old people don’t like how they choose to represent THEMSELVES. Go get a hobby🤡

@@shaylivesfree The name calling alone is just cause to question your abilities as a parent. If he saw you now, I'd be embarassed for him. Learn how to communicate with class, you are after all his first teacher (unfortunately), directly and indirectly.

@@dpcisunbreakable why don’t you mind the business that pays you and that is certainly not mine. Be embarrassed for yourself, you’re on the wrong side of evolution and history. And, lastly, I know how to communicate with class, but why would I extend you that courtesy? You came here looking for a fight and then got mad that you got one. A whole 🤡🤡🤡. Go. Get. A. Hobby.

I agree with Lil Mama when she spoke to the reassignment surgery, shit I don't even think kids should get tattoos. Permanent decisions should not be made in adolescent minds. Once folks are of age, do what you feel.

@@kiingwiizard How did the commenter miss the point? Hell, funky missed the point. The issue was Lil Mama stating her opinion on the age of transition. He then went on this tirade on his sexuality as a little kid which is completely different from what D Wade kid is experiencing.

They are not allowed reassignment surgery until after the age of 18 years old. There’s therapy and superficial changes (hair cut, clothes etc.) to make sure they understand and can change their minds at any time.
