@@Robiro578 It could be that he paid off the police for them to stand down, which is most likely the case. Like I said, there's no Black Men in the U.S. that carry that much power over any metropolitan city. If guys like Big U, Trick Trick, or Hatian Jack really move like that in the streets, than why don't they use that level of power to rebuild their communities outright? Maybe they need to concentrate more on changing the economic landscape of their native cities versus just focusing on their contributions to the state of Hip Hop. Perhaps we can't see it the impact because it may be on a smaller level if they are doing such endeavors.. Regardless, I think it's dope because it's good for the culture and I'm happy about that. Still, I would have to see more being done for me to bask praise on any of these guys. Unlike many people that post on this site

I still tear up when I listen to Nip's music. NEver met him, never been to a show, just been a long time fan. He rapped like a big cousin trying to give you knowledge without giving you a handout and I always hears what he was saying. I was hard-headed and didn't jump on the knowledge when I should have but I never forgot it and I certainly apply all that I can where ever I can now. It's still so surreal that an icon that was JUST truly budding was killed like that. It's upsetting and it's a reminder of how fragile any and everything is. Literal seconds can take away everything you've ever worked for or been motivated by. When my money reaches appropriate levels i hope to be able to contribute a lot to the ideas he was pushing. I don't know how many people really listened to Nip's messages but he really was motivational. I hope his family is at peace as best as they can be.

I feel big u sat on the block at times and hated on nip because he wasn't paying him off anymore, a nigga like Eric who never made it saw him randomly at the spot saw how nip was loved why Eric was being over looked (his girl even wanted a pic with nip) left called big U(maybe not but it's something or someone boost his head up to make a move because why not do it the first time he came up to nip) circle around the building out of anger and hate in his heart because nip made it and he didn't want Eric around him anymore. Even if nip said snitch or not it's still no reason to kill him. If shit ain't true that's motivation to make a diss track ijs That was evil and Eric ain't have shit to live for so he pulled the clip. Took nip life along with his and regardless Eric was heading back to prison the way he moving in the streets. RIP NIP you left enough music video clips ECT for your son to pick up from. I really see a lane for her like this. Especially all the young women getting in gangs. Please, I got NORE on that Korupt bs. That video was so fucking disrespectful. I was sitting at work hearing Big on the radio. I didn't think somebody would shoot for Big, but I knew it was the city, someone was gonna see an opportunity they probably didn't know who he was. NYC, has an underworld with all kinds of people, rappers were not really involved in the real real stuff back then. That was just dumb, on both parts anybody would have taken that shot. The first time I saw that video I was at work again, looking at Korupt kicking over the Citibank building looking like it was landing on top of my work building. I practically saw me and my desk in the rubble. How is a young college kid who loved Pac, and Korupt supposed to feel? I was over Korupt, especially because we know he's really from Jersey. Kicking over buildings people live and work in like King Kong, ain't shit respectful about it. He knew what he was trying to do. Industry people get so caught up in themselves, and don't realize it's everyday that are consuming their products or not, and those opinions matter. You can't put out a public product sending messages to eachother and think every shot will hit and there will be no collateral damage. That is dumb as hell, and they need to take responsibility for that. In the end, I had a nice life and wasn't that invested. There are real people who have love, lost , and died in those buildings. Some of them have nothing left, no life and don't care about consequences anymore. These people like playing, but everyone ain't playing. I did not like that trying to convince people that Korupt was innocent and artistically just loving NYC in that video, FOH with the bullshit. He never wanted to be accountable for his part in the nonsense part of the reason he can't get himself right until this day. Those kind of people stay stuck, to many enablers allowing his punk ass poor behavior.
