Make brand new memories..meet brand new people. There's a whole world outside of yourself that is definitely worth exploring haha ..Keep going. Push forward. I think deep inside, we all look up to peep as that part of us that was never understood by anyone or anything and we blame as the reason for all our failings, especially when we convince ourselves that we are not worthy of love. At the time he died I was on my drug treatment, I did not know who he was until a new girl that was a fan of him came and said he died. For next two year the name Peep meant only a junkie to me until I eventually bumped into some of his songs with more open mind. Here I am crying to this song on my night shift both because of how much I relate to Homer in the video and how I relate to Gus. Now Im 23 and almost 4 years sober and still feel like Im discovering life and happiness everyday. This helps me to realize the difference. Back then I could not believe that I will really live happy one day and now I cant imagine giving up on my life that is so precious to me. I wish Peep could live to such days and Im crying only more when I imagine that he is up there in heaven and he is smiling at us being proud that we are fighting to make it.
