I like lil Pete and DSGB because they represent GA not just Atlanta. From a hardcore perspective they put the state on the map.

No Limit kidnapped Pimp C, Jumped Pastor Troy in his own state and almost signed Cash Money and all that was probably done on a random monday because P had to go play in the NBA on Tuesday. No southern label even comes close to No Limit Records.

Can’t wait for more of this interview. Would like to hear if he and Troy squashed their beef with each other. He had a song called “Versa Vice” on a mixtape back in the day dissing Troy. I remember the song because he chanted his opening to his verse on Vice Versa as the hook. Can’t remember the name of the mix cd it was on but I remember buying it at Georgia Southern on year at Playas Ball...or what was left of Playas Ball at the time.

I was there. I was 14 or 15 with the big homies. Went to see this concert. Lakewood amphitheatre. CeeLo pet Troy come on through his verse. That was epic!!!! Someone pulled the performing cord out while No Limit was rapping. No Limit was deeeeeeep no doubt but Pastor Troy We Ready juuuust came out and was blasting in the city. C Murder came to my school around that time with Monica Brother Tez and they were deeeep in those fatigues. Lol. Some reason the crowd started chanting We Ready....C Murder was pissed and confroted one of the people in our crowd lol. No Limit was kicked out the game.

PT is one of my favorite rappers but let's you know he was buying into his hype. That song was so big in the street you probably couldn't tell him anything back then. You see two No Limit busses and you still go in a party when it's only a few of you'll?? I ride with my people but if I'm telling you something obvious and you ignore it, then I'm not putting myself in harms way trying to be loyal. Glad no one got hurt.
