I did 28 yrs. and I can say you're doing the right thing P! I turned my life around and I am GRATEFUL for my family. I would hear some of the inmates cussing out their own loved ones so they could get money. Meanwhile I made belts, wallets, bags mp3 cases out of leather; I slinged beats from my keyboard and had that money sent to my people. Now I'm out and making music taking my story to anybody who needs to know. I may be in prison but prison ain't in me! I said that to myself everyday when I was in there until I got out. Thank God for you bro. you were an inspiration to me when I was in there and now that out you continue to inspire me.

@Kyle Levins, of course he wasn't going to base his persona on Little house on the Prarie. That wud be stupid. The man grew up in the Calliope projects seeing nothing but crime and murder. My point was he turned it into a positive thing because he didn't live that life and he was able to come out of it and give back . Smh, If people were stupid enough to mimic the stuff he talked about in his music, who is at fault? I love his music. Never sold drugs or murdered anyone. Obviously if the man was able to reach success, without himself being incarcerated or murdered ,he is smarter than the people who thought they need to go out there and be a " gangsta"" instead of just enjoying the music.

@@AceThaDon Promoting violence is actually doing the violence. Since rap began it's been filled with rappers saying they possess the most expensive material items, they get the most girls, and they do gangster stuff. Most of us know that most of them are lying or just telling stories about people or events they have seen. I don't know anyone who would say they ever thought Master P was a gangster, or created chaos between black men, or sent out instructions for anyone to be murdered. Check Suge Knight for that one. Check Master P's brother C - Murder who its alleged is called C Murder because he has a couple of bodies. Check Soldier Slim whom is alleged to be a real gangster. All Master P did was inspire young black folks to be the boss and have their own businesses All we saw in Master P was a business man and a rapper telling us about the violence in New Orleans which a whole lot of people didn't know about.

From someone who works in a prison and having family members go in and out of jail for years on end. I know firsthand how selfish, ungrateful and self absorbed people that are incarcerated can be. If you think by putting money on their books and sending them packages while they’re locked up is looking out for them, you’re dead wrong. All that does is to make being in prison a more comfortable experience. They really need to feel that discomfort so they won’t keep making the same mistakes over again. She was mad at so much. One wise woman who was there for years told her straight up “No one owes you nothing”. This told me this was the realist statement anyone told her in there. From that day forward she didn’t put expectations on people and dropped any ill feeling towards her fam & friends. When she came home & even now, you will never catch her on any ill feelings towards what people didn’t do while she was locked up because she has takes full accountability that her decisions got her there. She is genuinely loving towards all her people. This story was so real and beautiful to me. Unforgettable. You can take full accountability and still be hurt and disappointed.all of this is apart of his struggle and a testimony to what he has experienced and is experiencing so I find possitivity in what he's saying the message can be turn around ,stop, and change your life because the people you think is gonna be your ATM will turn they back on you and that thought alone can keep people from prison.i did time with that guy Corey and he has always said his brother has shown little to no support.i don't understand that mentality for people that are guilty so I most definitely don't for someone who has always said they where innocent.master p is contradicting himself he's basically telling us he's not supporting him because he's not going to change and that everything he's saying is jail talk but then he says he didn't want people rubbing on hi ass......come on man. REALLY? WHO IN THIS WORLD CARES ABOUT BEING SEARCHED WHEN YOUR GOING TO SEE YOUR LOVE ONE. ROMEO.said he wish his dad would have used the lawyer money and did some things for the kids .so that tells you their not supporting the kids neither or either he's saying he shouldn't have done anything for the uncle who he believe is innocent.this is sensitive for me because I have everything I need with out a worry or want and I experienced the same thing from my brother while being locked up with Corey he's not hurting for anything but his family..being real I'm still on lock and I can do more for my family than they can for me but at the end of the day that hurt....and hes bashing Monica and he's out of line for telling than basically to let go he's not coming home and if he does he's not gonna do right....wtf imagine being gone all of that time and this is what your brother has to say for himself

@Hard TIMEI Invested time into UNBIASED research. Watched Many interviews from witnesses that were actually there and paid attention to the trial & court proceedings, unfortunately it was after he had already been convicted, but honestly it really didn't take too long to see that this man is not only innocent but a victim himself, it's honestly disgusting what those jurors were presented with & what was suppressed, it was another example of " the good old boy" law used to ensure they had every link on that chain gang full, of which they still do to this day. It's sad actually how fast you'll see the wrong that was done to him, but I still kept going and doing my due diligence before I formed my opinion but in the end it was clear & I came to the same conclusion as Kim Kardashian, Monica, tons of lawyers, legal analysts, & law professors & am certain this man is 100% innocent of the crime he was convicted of, he might not be an angel but he IS INNOCENT & THATS what needs to be focused on until he gets home where he belongs.

Everything he said is absolute truth. Friends never last but family, not all but some family, last forever. People that we meet as friends, over time become family when loyalty is shown through both good and bad times. The ones that don’t become family for whatever reason, just wish them well and enjoy what time you had. And everyone that’s cool to you isn’t your friend. Some people just like to see shit go down and you just might be a pawn in their little game.

The first time my brother did 12 years I was a kid and he got out when I was 18. The second time he did 20 years. For 20 years I did everything he asked from sending money, paying for subscriptions and newspapers, to traveling to several states to visit him because he was doing federal time. When he got early released he was paroled to my house. I bought all of his clothes, personal items, hygiene items, etc and he turned on me about four months in. He told other the room did not have AC, I live in a 100 year old house. He complained that the new bed was too small when I actually gave him a available and newly completed room that had all new paint, flooring and window coverings. He trashed me to our siblings and told me that living with me (my husband, daughter, and other brother and his son who I also was helping) was like living in prison. He said that because he wanted his "friend" to stay but she was disrespectful to me. Now I consider him dust and regret how much of my time I wasted helping him....20 years. Lesson learned. My parents and siblings supported him his whole life.
