Now it's aged so well that it feels mainstream and normal. Songs like Early 20 Rager, 444+222, For Real, Diamonds All On My Wrist, etc... didn't exist in 2017 before Luv Is Rage 2, and now that other artists have caught up, it makes LIR2 look somewhat normal out of context.

I feel like by this point, Lil Uzi Vert should carry out their thoughts about retirement while they can. I’m not saying “they suck they should retire”, I’m saying they should retire before they start to suck. They’ve already had a great fulfilling career. They’ve made a couple timeless mixtapes and songs, and had a good impact on the industry with their style and sound. They’ve done what they can, so they should just drop Luv Is Rage 3, and then retire for good. If they just continue to make music, they’ll probably go farther downhill and eventually fall off, and vanish from the view of the public. If they retire before they can fall off, we’ll still at least be remembering their work without a really bad recent run to screw it all up.

Honestly as an Uzi fan I agreed with the beginning of this review and thought the beginning of the album definitely suffered from nos and it merged together but yada yada’ing songs like chill bae and Goddard song is just wild. They’re not trying to appeal to everyone. They’re just having fun on tracks not worrying about making a hit. Harsh on Uzi as always but I didn’t expect different. I’d give it a realistic 4 by your standards. 2 is just bullying
