Listening to this song, it almost feels like the perspective it’s written from is of a man that’s already dead, and regretting his life decisions, missed opportunities/moments. Or, someone who’s in the in between, “limbo” who can’t let go of what was once his life to “move on” (conversations with the reaper, angels “hovering” presumably waiting for him to “cross over”). The woman he loved is moving on in the world of the living and he can’t let go of her, and therefore can’t let go of *it*, so he’s stuck in the neither here nor there, dying but not dead but still not alive.

Gjon Alia I hate when people get it confused, he doesn’t really “freestyle”, he records segments and pieces them together, and yes he has been doing it for 15+ years, he recorded a track which was a notebook full of written bars, and as he rapped them he tore out the pieces and hasn’t written since then, it’s not freestyling, but it’s not writing down, he says he does it to not get attached to a topic and move on to the next project or song and then put his full focus into that, he describes it on an interview with Jimmy Fallon.

They haven't done an eminem song since killshot, which is understandable because em fans tend to get offended whenever they have actual opinions of the song. Im an eminem fan and I would love to see them react to some of the new album, but most of the Em fans have been pretty toxic on this channel.
