Wayne's rebirth album was so underrated. It generally received negative feedback from critcs. I would have personally given wayne an A+ for this album, he introduced a lot of sentiment in it, and also managed to combine hip hop and rock flawlessly

Lil Wayne has such an influential effect with his first verse, then Shanell comes in with that strong voice and the song is complete. Its like Wayne is the spark and Shanell makes the fuel explode with the loud chorus. I love em both so much

I listened to all 12 songs in the rebirth album yesterday and songs like this were pretty rare tbh, if he did a Rebirth I’d hope he’d learn from his mistakes from the first album. Like if you wanna hear one of these mistakes listen to “Da da da”. But yea I’d be up for a Rebirth II
@shaunbrown81385 жыл бұрын
@@lw2275 well, o gotta disagree with the analogy of mistakes. In art , the is no such thing as mistakes. Perfection, and articulation are the magical components of art. Any mistake could be transformed to something greater

I remember listening to this album back in 2010. And I thought to myself wow, how well executed everything is, the collab itself as a concept, the delivery, and the lyrics. I keep coming back to Rebirth because it's still a goddamn banger. Wish Wayne released more music like this. Deep thoughts with emotional delivery > any garbage that's out today
@natedogg9993 жыл бұрын
I remember buying this when it came out and it was such an underrated album. It reminded me of my young college days and emotions that I had that have sense all but disappeared. If you are young today cherish those young emotions, innocence, and love before you become jaded like me.
