Yo, I'm 37 and hearing you downplay the suicide boys as "white guys using 3 six samples" is a cop out. You had like one good album when I was growing up and the only reason we knew who you were was because of 3 six mafia bringing you out. SUICIDE BOYS built their own brand, image and style and did it completely independent. Their lyrical skills and storytelling blow anything you ever did out the water bro. You should be humble and give them the proper credit that they not only deserve but have earned. The new SB album just dropped and is blowing up as I type this...

People are typically sceptical of white rappers because of “Elvis syndrome”…You know, the whole: “he’s white, AND he’s a rapper! Let’s give this little blond kid a record contract!” That goes all the way back to Vanilla Ice. People got the feeling that those types of guys were getting fame and money because of their “looks” (blue eyed, white skin) instead of talent. And some of that IS true. I’m a white guy, and I rap too, but I call it as I see it.

It’s because white rappers sometimes get put in a pedestal whether they have real talent or not. He’s skeptical until he sees real skill. AND he is one of the early pioneering white rappers, a member of the Hypnotize Minds-Three 6 Mafia crew, so he kind of took offense to all their stuff being sampled, flow being jacked, etc. which is completely understandable. He’s just looking out for DJ Paul and the Triple Six boys. They were his mentors and now they’re his brothers, so I totally understand him being wary of someone new jacking their beats.

hearing alot of hate for wyte here in the comments. lame honestly. suicide boys are dope. theres no denying that. but lets be real three 6 is still better lol... also wyte's doubt me now album is one of the hardest albums ever produced. better than most sb stuff.. not hating just looking at this at an honest viewpoint in music terms

$b modernized three 6. I got into them from listening to $b and Xavier wulf, wouldve never known who they were if not for the boys tbh.

They have some fire originals but I just can not get past the shit they stole from three 6 mafia, koopsta knicca, tommy wright etc. They went way further than sampling they committed plagiarism. And thats why they got sued so I aint even tryna argue with nobody about this shit.

lol nah what Paul & Juicy did was some snake shit. They could've sued em about 5yrs ago before they blew up but they decided to wait till they were big enough to sue em & after Juicy worked with em too. & im a BIG 3 6 fan too but even I could admit that was fucked up what they did

Thank you! They literally just took the same beats. Same bpm. And they put the same drums over them. F#$k suicide hos

People that hate on SB for this 3 6 bs doesn’t know the full story. The bottom line is that 3 6 already knew about it and started working with them after the fact.. As soon as they started getting bigger and started getting money 3 6 sued.

@@Horrordelic yeah but they ended up signed with juicy which juicy said they could use, but they still ended up paying Paul too. Which was the right thing to do. Suicide boys did take a lot from 3-6.
