If I was Lil Xan I would have left this interview because of the lack of respect. No matter who you have on your show or how long they have been in the game you need to treat them equally. Xan is not diluting the rap game, the game itself is changing and turning into a lot of artists using type beats and big features to carry their songs.

Other than being actively disrespectful, making no effort to understand or appreciate who he is speaking with ever and somehow still believes he is doing the artist a favour and not clearly the other way around He genuinely has no idea what he is talking about ever. He said because everyone can access the equipment / resources to make rap music that it has completely devalued the culture, that is 1000% completely wrong in every possible way, and it’s just another of many insights into how disconnected he is, how he has the most disgraceful elitist view on what hip hop is, and that he bought into the ‘angry old head’ image so hard that he hasn’t bothered to keep up with anything for basically 15+ years now, idc who he knows, he hasn’t lifted a finger to benefit ‘the culture’ he cares so much about profiting off in exclusively negative and career damaging ways, go sit with charlamange and let the culture thrive without you

I think the real reason why anxiety and depression is so common among the youth now is because of social media. We set these unrealistic standards by comparing ourselves to others and constantly viewing what others are doing at all times (Snapchat, stories on Instagram). That's why I give myself social media breaks every once in a while and I really do think they help. I'll go days to weeks without looking at anything anyone posts. I don't delete my apps, I just give myself a break.

I agree 100% thats why i hate social media because like number one it ruins people my age to the point we cant even talk face to face and you get so worried about what other people think instead of being your self

Stop complaining about people having 'Lil' in their name. It's Hip Hop's equivalent t bands having 'The' at the start of their name.

it's like back in the day people had Ice Cube, Ice T, Vanilla Ice, Big Daddy Kane, Puff Daddy.....different eras have different trends. These hosts need to move on from the 90's. We get that's when they were young, but if they can't embrace new music and new styles, then they should work at oldies hit stations for people who get stuck at a certain era

I'm old school. 80s hip hop. My 14 yo son likes Lil Xan. I hate it. But what I get is - young people like what they like. No old men and women gonna tell them what to like. It was always this way. It will always be this way. We will always say respect this - know your roots etc. But youth culture has always given the middle finger to the past. And while I don't like Lil Xan, on youtube one of his videos got 134M views! So he's legit to 134M peeps. I dont think the bridge between his music and the classics will ever be built. But maybe it don't matter! Cos Ebro...more youngsters know who he is than they know you!

Damn I am glad to see someone that people look up to speaking out about mental health and anxiety disorders specifically, and he is right stressed out is not anxiety.when you are rushed by ambulance to the hospital because you feel like your having a heart attack been there and I totally respect that he is speaking out against drug abuse. People that abuse to cause a problem for the ones that really need because they start changing FDA laws so thanks lil xan

Ebro is starting to seem really dated and bitter (and I'm not a Lil Xan fan, at all). I just think if Ebro wants to stay on point he needs to be more positive with new music, what I mean is that he's constantly bitching about what he doesn't like - ok, so use your platform to shine light on new stuff that you do like!

Think you've all misunderstood me. What I'm saying is that Ebro should be shining light on the good stuff, instead of even featuring the stuff he doesn't like. Why have these nu-trappers on HIS SHOW if he doesn't like them...? Answer - for rating/hits. My point is that he should be discovering and pushing more new stuff instead of becoming this kinda hip-hop grinch character that bitches about 'kool-aid hair' trap.

Damn I don’t even mess with Lil Xan music, I suffer from anxiety but can also read thru someone’s bs, Xan was honest as possible and wasn’t trying to portray himself as anything more. Ebro asking stupid questions about diet and also picking at his emotions and wether his dad taught him Spanish and if that effected lil xans emotions growing up. Just tried to get under his skin and get him to answer irrelevant ass questions. They fucked him, this was a shitty interview.

Jay Dav 😂 It’s clear your one of those lil heroin/young pill popper fans. It’s cool. Your generation is so impulsive arrogant. I feel sorry and I’m worried for the generation that will come after you guys. You need guidance in life someone to mentor you and help you set life goals to better your self if you’re listening to this type of disposable music. Trash is trash and his music is terrible. No substance no message no story behind it.

I relate to Lil Xan on the anxiety subject. I'm not going to go into detail, but I come from a VERY broken and abusive family and even to this day when I think about what's going on with my biological family I have anxiety attacks to where I'm on the ground crying and I'm having trouble breathing and I'm puking and it's hard but I'm slowly getting better and feeling like I can handle it better. If you're still reading thank you for reading and have a great day!
