I think the real reason why anxiety and depression is so common among the youth now is because of social media. We set these unrealistic standards by comparing ourselves to others and constantly viewing what others are doing at all times (Snapchat, stories on Instagram). That's why I give myself social media breaks every once in a while and I really do think they help. I'll go days to weeks without looking at anything anyone posts. I don't delete my apps, I just give myself a break.

I relate to Lil Xan on the anxiety subject. I'm not going to go into detail, but I come from a VERY broken and abusive family and even to this day when I think about what's going on with my biological family I have anxiety attacks to where I'm on the ground crying and I'm having trouble breathing and I'm puking and it's hard but I'm slowly getting better and feeling like I can handle it better.
