Oh my goodness, 16 inches of snow ? That was five years ago (watching an oldie !) recently , you and your daughter have mentioned how hot it was recently 2023. Even though this was 2 years ago, I still love it. I myself love lilacs too. Thanks to my granny and my mom, they both had lilac trees in the back yard. My mom had a strange vine growing around the branch of the tree and later on found out in was a zucchini squash growing from the vine. We all got a good laugh out of it. Love this and it gave me an idea to do for spring or summer with all the fake flowers I have

I’m with you Jody lilac are my favorite flowers when I was growing up the front corner of our yard was filled with lilac s in white , pink ,lavender and purple just the same colors you our using and when I tell people they our un a where that the lilac came in so many different shades but what I really enjoyed was every spring when it warmed up and we would open our windows all you could smell was the beautiful fragrance of the lilacs and it was breathtaking I miss that so much and as soon as they start to bloom I am driving around in Search of blossoms so I can cut and bring them home of course I don’t steal them from anybody’s property I work for wildflowers out in the middle of nowhere because there is nothing like the fragrance of a lilac

Looks so pretty. You gave me a great idea when you mentioned that you wish you could get the lilac to smell like lilac. I'm going to add lilac bath salts or maybe a air freshener or even those scented closet / drawer air freshener will work then add to the bottom of my floral centrepieces tfs
