As a person who is getting back into editing, these new updates are AMAZING. The Text based editing is a game changer. Glad I stumbled onto your video. Thanks.

Text based editing is spectacular. Producers usually want to do that job if you're in a team environment but if you're flying solo or preditor, it's a godsend for time efficiency at the assembly stage. Most of the boring busy work gone. That leaves you with the content you actually want and you can jump right into the fun part of making the content creative, entertaining and polished.
@TheCookieCrisp10 ай бұрын
Are people using the term preditor like predator? Or like pre-editor. "I quit my last job because my boss was a sexual preditor."

I don't think anyone has issues with Ai Tools. They've been used for over 20yrs, and they serve to increase the natural productivity and creativity we have. It's the image generators like MidJourney, which generate content out of thin air (usually from stolen artwork) which is the issue. These Ai-powered tools look like a great addition to speeding up an editors workload, particularly that text based editing plugin. Very neat stuff.

Is there any way to use Premiere Pro, Premiere Elements or another tool/plugin/platform to label each clip based on the faces that are in it? Similar to how the iPhone or Google Photos has a "People" section? I currently analyze TV show analytics such as character screen time (i.e., how much time each cast member is the screen during each episode). As on now, I am using “Scene-Edit Detection” and then manually typing and naming the clip based on the faces of the cast member(s) that is shown. Thanks so much!

I honestly only use the remix tool when the music is just a flat background for long talking head content. Because when the remix extends the music it doesn't give you variations, it gives you a loop, so you can't build different atmospheres on that.

I think Macs are awesome pieces of equipment. They last longer than most PCs, have always run smoother and while they are outrageously priced you always feel like you get your money's worth. But I prefer a PC for myself personally. So it would help if you could include relatable PC instructions, maybe as a lower third or some text on the screen. Still an excellent video it's just that some Mac instructions are no 100% aligned with PC instructions. Had to do a little hunting trying to find Transcription preferences. I found them - literally in EDIT-PREFERNCE within an activated project. But I spent five minutes wondering if my copy of Premiere was defective in some way because I couldn't find the word "premiere Pro" on it until I realized, "OH, That's a Mac thing." Love the channel and Happy New Year.

Caused my new GPU to fail rendering over and over again. Until I wasted a day and a half just trying to see if the video would render. 😊 I love all the options Adobe is giving at the moment.
