I'm hearing Lilandra and Brood Wolverine and am thinking "yeah, I'm so lost" I've never been a huge X-Men fan so i know very little about their section of the Marvel universe so i have no idea what or who these guys are. Nonetheless, it was a very enjoyable video even if i had no idea what's going on 😅

Thanks Brayden! Lilandra is the empress of the Shi'ar empire, which is an advanced alien race that put the Phoenix on trial in the comics. Additionally, she is one of Professor X's primary ongoing love interests. As for the Brood, they are creatures inspired by the Alien franchise, with the difference is that their sting transforms their victims into Brood.

When I first saw the reveal of the Brood Wolverine figure, I almost thought it was a Zombie Wolverine figure at first, but a Zombie Wolverine for Marvel legends would be dope af.

2-pack looks good, but I gotta point something out. Hate it when Hasbro does the half pinless treatment. Have one section be pinless and the other with pins whether it's the arms or knees. If you're going pinless, make it all pinless. Hasbro and their BS, it never ends. Gotta say the good and bad. I think the Brood Wolvie should've been packed with a newly sculpted and articulated Brood alien. Now that would've made more sense. Lilandra looks real nice, but I don't think it's worth $50 when it's really Lilandra that most want and Brood Wolvie pretty much a filler. Now if Lilandra was packed with a newly sculpted Deathbird or D'Ken figure, I'll pay full price. Other than that, for that 2-pack there... I'll just play the waiting game till the price gets knock down or goes on clearance for $20 or less. Who knows? many end up at Ross or Ollies.

I have never even cared about Llandra but that figure is so cool tat I kinda wanna get her. It's a shame that this wave of 50th anniversary 2 packs doesn't include a normal 80s brown wolverine. I found the retro carded one on ebay for a decent price so I guess I'll go with that one. How much you wanna bet that hasbro's gonna announce a new one the second I buy it?

One nitpick I noticed out of the box is how short the Lilandra figure is. She stands at 5’11, she should not be nearly the same height as Wolverine (who stands at 5’3) and my Stepford Cuckoo figure. I love this line, but I only purchased this two pack because it was on sale for $25 at a local store which is honestly all it is worth. A paywall behind another Wolverine figure is absurd, it should have been another member of the Imperial guard that we haven’t had but alas Hasbro will Hasbro.

I do get a kick out the Brood Wolverine, but if they insisted on including a Logan, I think Wolverine in the Fang suit would have gone down easier for a lot of collectors.

I'm conflicted on the FF one. When I saw them at first, I thought it was taken from a What If where the Fantastic Four was Iron Man, Wolverine, Spider-Man, and Ghost Rider taking on Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet, which is a comic I really love. So, thinking we were going to get Iron Man and Ghost Rider too made me interested. I don't know anything about Wolverine and Spidey teaming up with Franklin and Valeria, so I will probably skip. I do have Wolvie and Sabretooth coming, though.

Lilandra reminds me of a Frank Quietly drawn face. I'm on the opposite end on this one from you. Brood Wolverine is a figure I've been wanting for decades, while Lilandra is a nice to have figure that's being thrown in. That being said, now that we're starting to get the Shi'ar figures, I'm kicking myself for not picking up Gladiator back in the day.

They never made that Wolverine before & never should have. He was only infected by Brood embryo for a short period before his healing powers turned him back normal. It’s a wasted opportunity to give collectors a Wolvie we could really appreciate. I can think of at least a 1/2 dozen better ones. Glad Charles has his girlfriend now ;)
