I love Xenomorph variants, especially in video games. For real. Enemy units need variety. I also want bosses bigger and badder than a queen. Like giant castes designed to go destroy a military threat when a hive is repeatedly attacked. My rule is that they can't just look exactly like the original. They need to clearly look related to the original, but, in the case of giant boss monster variants should look more powerful and with additional interesting elements.

Batman had a long face in Arkham City and Asylum. They were just accurate to the game. I always thought his game design looked weird.

The Knightfall head on the 89 body looks more like Keaton (or at least the OG Kenner Keaton figure) than the actual Keaton head! ❤

Black and Grey Knightfall might be my go to for display.

Awesome thanks for the swaps! The Grundy wave AC Batman is my favorite head sculpt McFarlane has done so far and I liked that swap the best. My favorite Batman head in this scale is the DC Essentials Knightfall, if you have that figure it’s pretty cool on Keaton 89 (you have to paint the essentials head black tho)

The Yellow Lantern head is the one I have on mine, to me it fits perfectly in terms of what I picture in my mind when I think Batman. I’ve got the Gordon Batman head on my blue Knightfall bats, painted to match, it’s a close second!

In reference to to Batfleck. IMO IF YOU USE The neck peg from General ZOD the bearded faced one It completely changes it to looking correct.

With all these videos I'm coming to the conclusion that I just don't like any of the McFarlane Batman heads. I didn't realize I was so picky. The Mezco Sovereign Knight Batman long eared head is still by far my favorite for any figure in this scale, even with the panel lining. I can't explain it, but it just perfectly captures my mental image of Batman. The Knightfall head is similar, but just feels sort of bland and generic. It doesn't have any edge or character to it. Also boy howdy that unmasked head on this body feels just like a realistic take on BTAS.

I'm much more of a comicbook figure fan, but repainting some eyes white, and adding yellow to some symbols makes some of the movie swaps work

Since I passed my driver's license all I want to do is try to get me this so very dope Knightfall Batman figure because the original release is way too pricey now on the secondary market and I do really like the black and grey color scheme.

I seek out head swaps so much I've bought several figs of different lines just for the heads

Soft goods only look good on 1/6 figures.

The NECA one is my favorite. Though hard to recommend because of the exclusive nature of it, the joints being frozen out of the package, and NECA's terrible quality control. I pulled the cape in front of the neck, lining it above the collarbone, to make it drape above his shoulders. It adds so much to the look of the figure 👍

Realized Select looks kinda like Michael Jordan and now I can’t unsee it😂

I have the BAF version, and I think it's the perfect Apocalypse. I wouldn't trade him for any of the others. The Retro version is to cartoonish and flat looking. The Marvel Select is too gangly and thin. (I like my Apocalypses swole). And the ToyBiz, it's way too outdated. So for me personally the clear winner is the BAF. But that's just my 2-cents.

I love soft goods/cloth goods.... But I HAAAAAATE this coat! It's friggin huge. It completely swallows the figure.

This body would make a good Steve Trevor. I like the soft goods. Adds more to the figure. I have been seeing this bad boy in stores. That scarf makes me want to use it for something else.
