If I had to go back in time knowing what I know now about relationships and do it over, I would not date. My personal standard would be to hang out in groups only, never alone with a man. It would allow the energy between me and a possible candidate to be natural without pressure. It would also protect me from sin and him from temptation. My alone time would be phone chats. And any guy who actually seriously likes you will respect that and understand you are setting yourself up to wait for marriage by never putting yourself in the lion's den to begin with. All this dating with the need to perform and audition is truly a culprit in why so many of us go through unecessary heartbreaks and failed relationships one after another. If we ladies just had higher standards and only allowed ourselves to mingle in groups, we wouldn't form these ridiculous emotional attachments before knowing a man. Make the man a familiar person to you before ever considering a date. That would have been my plan knowing what I know now.

It seemed like the podcast was basically an advertisement for a high-end business that most Catholics can't afford! Here are questions that I think should have been asked: 1. Is it ethical to charge someone $10,000 - $90,000 for something that is not guaranteed? What exactly is being provided for that amount of money? Is the required style/ wardrobe/ makeup stuff included in that price? It sounds predatory to me, but perhaps the idea is that celebrities have a lot of extra cash and so it doesn't matter? This is an important question if Conti is being held up as a Catholic business person (which this podcast does). 2. Similarly, are the people who pay $200 to be placed on a database given any sort of return on investment? 3. What is the actual success rate in the business? You established that there are "thousands" of marriages and only 12 divorces, but how many people have been successfully matched v. how many have paid $10,000+ and left empty-handed? What is the percentage breakdown of men v. women who seek their services?

Longer the list of requirements, more clueless a person is regarding how attraction works in general. People tend to lie to themselves and label artificial "could be nice to have" traits as mandatory, but natural needs will always supersede fake requirements. Women usually benefit from being reserved even if they have a high body count. While physical attraction is important, bedroom fun doesn't guarantee long-term success.

I find waiting 3 months so tricky. With that said, my last relationship went into exclusivity very quickly and crashed and burned. But I feel uncomfortable with the idea of waiting so long. Suuuuuuch a problem I've been screaming (and whispering) about for decades. I saw the coming in early 2000s when the "smart" phones came out. Porn makes it all worse, and the phones make porn worse. It's a NIGHTMARE. I'm 45, single eligible, Catholic woman and it's a hot mess :( Depressing actually. The anti humanity efforts is a plandemic in itself and I saw that coming. Anti social media is a HUGE addiction for most and I don't participate.

while single, ladies, chastity as well as excavate your childhood wounds -- we ALL have them, to varying degrees and intensities but wounds will definitely lead you to or away from what you need, vs what is familiar. Some of us wanted marriage and family in our 20s, and while waiting, was doing the work to heal and grow as whole people, serving, and remained available. I dated (chaste, not always with perfection - that human experience thing ;) ) a lot in my 20s, early 30s...what was happening in that era? NO SMART DEVICES/antiSOCIAL media Pink elephant in the room for some of us. Add porn in? And hello, this is HUGE. This is not a small variable. Social skills, communication skills, ability to love and be loved, skills, curiosity (which means to care, in latin)...which are lost with porn and antisocial media. How and why? They are one way things, with no curiosity outside of immediate gratification. I'm not a big professional anyone, but I'm an "expert" in my experiences in my "field" of observation and reality. As an italian myself, I can tell you before they spoke, I knew they were Italian. Ears plugged, just looking at them, I knew. We know our own. Also, our passion is more intense than hispaniacs -- as in, we are passionate about agape love, service and gregarious expressionism. We also don't think we're perfect and the only culture :) DEFINITELY not hispanics. Hispanic women "tend" to be snooty, have an "air" about them and our men are different too. Very sensitive lovers, very feminine with emotion (not always good haha) and very masculine with taking care of business...money wise, DIY projects wise, cooking and cleaning, working hard in every facet. What we don't have is your awesome music to dance to!! LOVE the rhythms for dancing. I love the diversity of our cuisine though better. Yes, it's beyond "pizza and pasta" and no, Dominoes is not pizza ;) Nor is Kraft, cheese :) Hope you have or have captured your woman! :) Ciao y vaya con dios (our people had to learn your language because ours spoke English when they came here heehee)

No, not nervous. She is enthusiastic, but also aware she's on a very Catholic venue, so maybe trying to be careful about her language. Why important to identify you are from Brazil? So sorry by the way what awful things are going on there! Prayers for you all there, and please pray for us here too. To only write with criticisms, is not too charitable. I think since it's already aired, it's not a loving correction. What I do is thank God for the person hosting, the person guesting, and any good that comes from it. Maybe consider some positives too. It's a very hard time to date and marry, mostly because of what wasn't elaborated on that I did comment, which is the pink elephant in the room surrounding how anti social media use and addiction, along with porn and the smart phone, ruined humanity, including Catholics (who often think they are holier than the world and yes, I'm Catholic but know enough to be wholistic and do my part with healing all areas).
