Liliac also has covered "Last in Line", "Rainbow in the dark" and some Sabbath stuff beyond "Country Girl" with Vinny Appice. As to Queen Covers, dude, Marc Martel.. You have to give the guy a listen if you're not already aware of him. Has the essence of Freddie nailed to the wall and has Freddie's voice almost identical.. little brighter sound, but if you close your eyes much of the time you won't know the difference between him and Mercury. He does 'one take' versions on here and has sang lead in the official Queen Tribute band - hand picked by Roger Taylor and Brian May. It's scary good stuff. Cheers. And thanks for the review.

Wendy Dio contacted Liliac to do a tribute song for the Dio Cancer Fund, the come out with "Last in Line" in a week. You must do that one. @@CaptainFaceBeard "The Last In Line" is my fav cover that they do. All their covers are incredible but they just seemed to have that bit of extra for "The Last In Line". I'm sure it had to do with the circumstances behind it. Now that said, don't let their covers fool you, these guys have some awesome originals. Everything they do has a "luxurious" sound to it. Their covers served their purpose and created a buzz and a fan base, but their original songs are the shining star that these kids are blinding the rock world with. Saw them live last tour and already have my tickets for the up coming tour. They are the real deal!

The Last in Line and Rainbow in the Dark, for me, is their best Dio covers, but only because I think this song has been a bit over played since the 80s. These guys may be the best I've seen covering Dio

Their covers of Dio are awesome. Vinny Appice is like their uncle at this point. He even called up Wendy Dio and asked her to send Melody Cristea some authentic signed Dio merch and she did. That being said their Originals are imo better. They have an EP, LP, and soon 2nd LP of Originals. They are about to start up their 4th USA Tour, they are currently 15-23, Sam the oldest turns 24 this year.

Well, their are Fangs that will hate this, but let me introduce you to a sibling band of about the same age. "The Warning". 3 sisters from Monterey, Mexico. They just toured last year with Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, Lilith Czar.(in the US). They did a fall tour with 3 Days Grace in Canada. Their Viral video 2014 "Enter Sandman " Daniella (Dany) 14yo, guitar, lead and backing vocals. Paulina (Pau) "POW" 12yo, drums, backing and lead vocals. Alejandra (Ale) bass and backing vocals. They were asked to collaborate with a Canadian POP and R&B artist, "Alessia Cara". They never got to meet in person (they in Mexico and Alessia in Canada). They re-wrote "Enter Sandman" and sent the version to Metalica in 7 days. We are from Canada as well. I have not heard of Alessia Cara yet. The Warning has been suggested to us many times, but we hadn't gotten to them yet. This interests me though. I love cover songs. 2 of my favorite bands are just cover song bands. Now taking a song and re-writing it, that is the true "Art of the Cover Song". Dio HATED Vivian Campbell, I watched a few of the interviews with him when they brought Vivian up, and Ronnie was 100% justified in his feelings, hahaha. I agree with you, I have heard a lot of Dio covers, and besides Jack Black with Tenacious D, never heard anyone do it in the same style and pull it off perfectly.

Why is it that people do not do a basic search of the band for things like ages, relationship to other members. For the record, they are in fact a family thing. They are all siblings. It's irritating not having basic info so you dont dumb as a box of rocks and automatically not going negative. Research, please, basic research.
