Hello my young friend. MeloDia and Sam have been harmonizing since they were 8 and 11 yrs old. This actually translates very well live. In August i heard them in Spokane play this. Sam took a little liberties with it and MeloDia took the climax to higher heights. Not note wise. I mean more tension. I play my audio of the concert many times. Nice reaction. Peace. Stay safe. In a recent podcast Papa Liliac said that originally Sam was originally the singer in the family, before they started the band. Mama kept telling him to listen to Melody, that she thought she was developing a unique voice and he finally listened to her and agreed. Someone once said that their cover of Rhianna’s “Stay” was sort of her “try out” to see how she’d perform on video. Whether that’s true or not it’s definitely worth checking out. It’s under the family name, the Cristea’s.

This one feels more genuine than most of Liliac's songs. Better lyrics. I particularly like the line "fulfilling others faded dreams". I also quite like how Melody's vocal parts play off Sam.

That's another good one also! I've listened to many covers of CLOSE MY EYES FOREVER and Melody and Mercury's is my favorite to date! 👍 Also LILIACS cover of I HATE MYSELF FOR LOVING YOU is in my opinion even better than the original!

Love this one! During the contrasting/competing lyrics, not sure if you noticed but Melody's voice in the first one is in one ear only and then the second time it jumps to the other ear only. Makes it easier to discern the different vocal lines if yer trying to. With the exception of this one, Sam hasn't had the lead on a song since they became Liliac. Was way happy they did this. I believe it was needed. Previously he sang lead. Good example would be "Ho Hey" or even another duet of them being "Stay". Those both are 10+ year old vids but good none the less. "Stay" is pretty dang fantastic actually. Enjoy! Fang4Life! RO&RH! 🤘😎🤘

You should watch their cover of Stay by Rhianna. Sam and Melody both sing but she is 11 years old and you can tell by her vocals in it that she was going to be an amazing singer!

They have said that Sam wrote this song and Melody told him that he had to sing it. It is basically saying it is okay, for men in particular, to cry.

You are correct that this song is different from most of their material. They do throw in some softer/emotional songs, which are excellent. If you are looking for the opposite of this song, checkout Madness, which is an original.

When I listened to this song for the first time, I thought that Sam represented the outside and Melody represented the inside of the same person.
