Gotta tell yall, couple of years back I stumbled upon yall on the pier off Santa Monica. I was having issues with PTSD and depression. I stopped to watch you all setting up and Samuel came up and shook my hand and said hello. I watched you guys play and decided that I had to stick around and see what music you would make, so I went to the VA and got help. I'm still here and rocking once ml ore. Thank you Cristea family, for being there and being as kind as you were.

I've been a rock musician for more years than these kids parents have been around. I've seen a number of young people burst into the limelight then vanish. There is something special here. Be strong (strong enough to ignore money motivated leaches...the real vampires), be patient, grow, evolve organically and naturally. This musical dry spell we are in now will pass. Be there and be ready when it breaks free. I'm very impressed by you all.

Leeches...well, let's see now-I can think of several (What am I saying?!?), or, in other words, many, Preachers, that are so money-grubbing, that it's not to be believed! We go way back to the time of Oral Roberts, with his "Faith-Healings", which were designed for deceiving people into giving the "Man of God" their hard-earned money. From there, we saw things begin to expand to different "Preachers", such as Benny Hinn, Rex Humbard (A Man that I used to listen to, and admire...until recently), Robert Tilton, Joyce Meyers, T. D. Jakes, and so many more. These clowns will fool ya every time, unless you know who they are, and how to avoid them. There's a bunch of crooks out there, all eager to rip your money from ya. Be careful who you listen to, and what you do, that's all I'm saying.

Who agreed to have the best up and coming rock band in the world on this show?..... in my office right now"!!

The contract they would have been given would have screwed the band. Label would get 99 percent of profit, leaving these talented kids with peanuts for their efforts. Best thing for the band was to tell AGT to take the contract and shove it. These kids deserve so much better than a label that's just going to bleed them dry.

She is destined to be one of the best female rock vocalists of all time (including Joplin, Wilson, Benatar, Jett, and Hale) and she has her own sound. I'm hearing a lot of '70s in this! That 'picture disc' screams 1975 and Melody's voice rocks harder than Ann Wilson about 45 years ago! Great song and video! Now I need to go crank this up on a proper sound system pushing 12" three-way speakers with at least 50 watts! "I can't always listen to brand new Liliac within an hour of premiere, but when I can, so do my neighbors!"
@ZoeyPaigeLunaPhD4 жыл бұрын
jshorva65 Woah, easy on Anne Wilson lol
@JHoliday3304 жыл бұрын
@@ZoeyPaigeLunaPhD I'm not saying that Ann Wilson, Stevie Nicks, and other ladies of '70s Rock weren't great. It's just obvious that Melody is making an even better start than they made. Melody has a distinct advantage of starting at an earlier age with taking proper care of her voice than I'm sure they did. The newest live Heart that I've been hearing (2019) is still impressive, but imagine how much better Melody will sound in her 60s without all of the partying those '70s ladies were doing in their teens and twenties. I'm no stranger to permanent vocal fold injury myself, losing about an octave to the effects of using hypercompression to achieve distortion since the '80s instead of using proper vocal distortion methods in my singing.
@ZoeyPaigeLunaPhD4 жыл бұрын
jshorva65 I can’t really say, I wasn’t around when Anne was Melody’s age and only have the Heart debut to go by. Anne was 24 at that time I think. So it’s possible you’re on to something there. I’ll know for sure in 6 years
@JHoliday3304 жыл бұрын
Just as a matter of curiosity, @@ZoeyPaigeLunaPhD, do you mind if I ask your age? I was about 10 in '75 the first time I heard Heart and Fleetwood Mac. They inspired me to insist on only dating girls who could sing, even if they would only sing along with the radio in the car. LOL

the pain doesn't go away. The music distracts you from the pain. Painkillers work this way too. This was explained by my pain management dr.. When you are really getting into music you like your body releases dopamine which stimulates the "feel good/ pleasure receptors" in the brain. A similar thing happens when opioids in painkillers are received by the opioid receptors in the brain.
